What it means to be a third party administrator

A third party administrator situation may arise when there is no executor appointed in a will for a deceased person, or if the executor has died, become physically or mentally incompetent, refused to carry out the duties of executor, or is in any other way unable to carry out the responsibilities of administrator of the estate in question. Other people can then make application to the courts to become the administrator of the estate and responsible for the assets and liabilities of the estate. This is usually one or more of the people who are named as beneficiaries of the estate, but may include other interested or affected parties. The process for setting up an administrator usually takes the following steps: checking the death certificate to determine jurisdiction, this is normally the county in which the deceased resided, checking the will to make sure it is the original and final copy, determining if there is executor named in the will, and if they are living and willing to assume the duties of executor is in the will, determining the third party administrator by the residuary clause, listing all next-of-kin with names, addresses, and ages, listing all the assets that are in the deceased name alone, and determine the value of these assets for the purpose of securing a surety bond. Appointing an administrator cannot normally occur until a ten day grace period has elapsed in order to allow all persons to file their proof of kinship to the deceased. After this period, the courts can issue a notice of appointment of an Administrator that is filed along with the original will, a copy of the death certificate, and avadavats or certificates that show the reason that an originally named executor is unable or unwilling to fulfill their responsibilities to the estate. In order to be recognized as an executor by the courts, an administrator must complete and sign a surety bond as principal which must be duly witnessed in accordance with the procedures of the courts. The administrator can then begin to pay all outstanding funeral expenses, as well as any documented and outstanding creditors and taxes. They also can begin to distribute the proceeds of the estate as stipulated by the will. Once these duties have been completed, they can apply to the courts to have the surety bond released. A third party administrator plays an important role that can help to carry out the dispersal and disposition of the estate of a deceased person. They may be an attorney or they may be assisted by an attorney. They are responsible to the courts to ensure that these matters are handled with efficiency and in an effective manner. They in fact become temporary officers of the court and are responsible for reporting back to the court at regular intervals and if any irregularities arise in the performance of their duties. Their work is guaranteed by a special form of surety bond that offers both the courts and the families of the deceased the comfort that these matters will be properly carried out. Choosing a quality web directory

A web directory is a type of database containing links to other web sites. A web directory is not the same as a search engine, because a search engine lists websites according to a search performed on different keywords. A web directory organizes its sites according to various categories and subcategories. There are many different web directories on the Internet providing a listing of links to various places on the Internet. What makes a quality directory? You can tell a quality directory by looking for some of the following simple characteristics. Make sure that the directory is well organized. Just throwing a set of links on a webpage isn’t enough to classify as a web directory. Categories need to be well thought out. The directory needs to be easy to navigate and have similar categories that need to be grouped together. The directory needs to be updated frequently with any bad links marked and removed. Keeping the directory up to date and will keep traffic returning. Keywords are another vital element. Using keywords properly is an important part of a great web directory. Just pasting in a web address for each listing will not do justice to the listing. Choose either the business or site main name or even the type of product, but make sure it is unique. These qualities together will help you separate the quality directories. The website directory that contains all of these characteristics together is of higher quality and that is the web directory you want. A directory like this can drive traffic and page strength to your site. To add your site to a web directory, pick a category for your site based on the overall content of your site. Not just the homepage. Then go to that category within the web directory and select the submit button. A simple form will come up for you to fill out and submit. It is important to realize that not all directories are the same. There are a few directories of very high quality on the internet and many thousands of poor quality. By choosing a high quality directory you will achieve the results you are looking for.

Honour talent that makes your business productive

We hear the word “talent” tossed about quite a bit these days. We know there is, and will continue to be, a shortage of it. We also know that finding and engaging the right talent will be the key to surviving in the service-driven new economy. So, as we mark Labour Day, it seems fitting ask the question: Why do so many companies fail to recognize and fully employ the talents of their workers? According to experts, only about one-fourth of American workers are truly engaged – that is, committed, productive and doing what they do best. If this is true, it means that a depressingly large number of Americans are being deprived of their right to meaningful work. It also means that companies are failing to capitalize on their greatest competitive asset. In 20-plus years of helping people and companies identify their best talent, I have observed five things that keep getting in the way: 1. Losing sight of talent by overemphasizing knowledge, credentials and experience. Just look at most want ads and you’ll see the job requirements listed tend to be mostly knowledge – or experience-based – ones that make candidates eligible, as opposed to suitable, for the position Companies repeatedly screen out candidates with better native ability to do the job because they many lack a knowledge that could be acquired. Why not list the talent profile required in the want ads as well? 2. Hiring in a hurry. Many companies are asking the question “Can you start on Monday?” earlier and more frequently than question designed to uncover talent. If it’s important to hire the right person, why not do right the first time, beginning with updating the job description, using behaviour interviewing or validated assessments, and taking the time to check references? 3. Viewing workers as interchangeable parts. Sad to say, but many mangers seem to believe that people can be bent, shaped, folded or mutilated to fit any job, especially lower-level ones. They often ‘micromanage,’ prescribing that jobs be done ‘the one best way,’ thereby squelching the opportunity for the individual to achieve results using his or her own unique gifts. These managers either need to be replaced or made to understand that a person’s talent needs to be matched with the role. 4. Trying to correct weaknesses when they should be encouraging strengths. No matter how hard we try, as the saying goes, we will never be able to train a turkey to climb a tree (better to hire a squirrel). But that doesn’t stop some managers from trying. After hiring or promoting a worker into the wrong position, they focus on so intently on correcting the person’s shortcomings that they overlook strengths and send a message (“you are inadequate”) that undermines confidence and productivity. 5. Failing to honor talent at all levels. The real heroes of American business are the customer service representatives, administrative assistants, nurses, teachers, engineers and truck drivers who are engaged and productive. These are the people who interface directly with customers and create value. Why shouldn’t the best workers be allowed to make a lot more money than the worst performers in those jobs, even if it means a top-performing waiter makes more than the restaurant manager? While we’re at it, how about creating ladders of excellence for all occupations to climb without having to be promoted to a level of incompetence – usually into a manager’s job. Speaking of managers, let’s honour the really good ones who understand the nature of human talent and work to nurture it.

Blogging tips for starting a business

A very popular way to become better known in wellness, fitness, and nutritional supplements is through business blogging. A business blog is slightly different than other traditional blogging styles that many people are familiar with. Below you will find some handy starting business blogging tips that you can use immediately. When you are starting business blogging it is important to set your blog up on a site that is already popular in the search engines. This provides you with a stronger chance of other people finding the blog and you have to spend less time promoting it. Once you have determined where you will host your new business blog, think about the purpose of it. Starting the business is not going to be successful if you do not have a goal or purpose set out for the blog. Some questions to ask yourself when deciding a goal for the blog include: Are you promoting a particular product such as a nutritional supplement? Will you be blogging to establish yourself as expert in a particular field such as the fitness industry? Are you going to use the blog primarily to connect with other people in the industry and network? Starting business blogging requires you to think about a target audience. Are you going to be writing posts that will encourage people to purchase a specific product? Are you going to be writing posts that are full of the industry jargon and very technical? Deciding a target audience will help you decide how to actually write your posts. For example, if you are going to be targeting potential buyers you want to write posts that will excite them about a particular set of products. On the other hand, if you are going to be writing for other people in the industry, you would want to write posts that contain industry jargon, informational posts, and posts with research findings. Knowing your audience is a key to successful blogging. Once you begin, it is helpful to set up links with other blogs and websites. For example, if you are selling vitamins as your goal for your blog, you can find other blogs that provide information about vitamin benefits. You are then linking with someone that is not competing for the same buying market and their blog posts will compliment the purpose of your business blog. You should spend time responding to comments left on your new business blog. Monitoring comments is an excellent way to network with other people. You can also provide answers to any questions that might arise as a result of a particular post you made. Some people leave spam and inappropriate comments. Make sure to delete these off of the business blog to keep the blog clean and looking professional. Starting business blogs is a great way to begin a newsletter. Not everyone that visits will see your blog on a daily basis. You can compile each month’s blog postings into an email newsletter that others can subscribe too. This will increase regular readership as well as help you make additional contacts in your niche. Starting business blogs is an excellent way to network market products with a soft-sell approach and it provides more information to the public about your industry field and to create newsletters. Take advantage of business blogs to help mold and shape the future of your company.

Five simple steps for developing a successful profitable internet business

With all the affiliate programs available and all the different products you can now rep, you don't want to spend a lot of money and then as time starts to pass. Few visitors show up to your site and practically no one buys into your offer. The reality is that this is how it usually works out for more than 80 percent of the Internet's Websites. The lucky 15 percent of the top Websites are the ones who pull in the top dollars, usually in the six figure income. If your new to starting your very own online business or even if your a seasoned veteran, here is a simple, proven five-step strategy for getting started on the internet. 1. Start by having your own product. How on earth do you think you are really going to obtain freedom so you can enjoy life? The answer is having your own product. Why would you want to be so determined and all hyped up about building the business of others?! The owners of affiliate networks and the owners of affiliate programs. Think about it for a second, they are just substitutes for employers. The affiliate path entails a lot of work and it is a path that does not lead you down main street. Yes there are some folks that make a lot of money at it, but I guarantee they are working their little tails off doing so. You need to eliminate the affiliate vendors out of the loop. Stop building them their fortune and start building your own Internet Business. How do you accomplish this? By having your own product. I highly recommend the Online Infopreneur Creation course. It will teach you how to get started even if you don't have a product. The course for doing that is here: onlineinfopreneurcreation The only way you will be able to obtain your own freedom via the internet is with your own Internet business and your own customers, not through some affilaite program. 2. Next, start submitting your Website to search engines. Just about everyone uses the major search engines to surf the Internet for information. Search engines will provide you steady, free, targeted traffic. But you won't receive this free traffic just because you submitted your Website to these search engines. You need to be ranked in at least the top ten listings when people search out a site similair to yours. A couple of excellent ways to get your site ranked higher are listed below. One additional thought, the three major search engines, Google, Yahoo, and MSN are all solidly built on information. You would be surprised some of the information people are looking for on the net. Information is a key to success. That is why I recommend so strongly creating an Information Website or product using Online Infopreneur Creation. Search engines do change their methods all the time. What worked last year may not work today. Continually seek up-to-date information on how and when each of the major search engines change their game plan. 3. Next, start to get your site added to PPC (pay-per-click) search engines e. g. Google Adwords. PPC's allow you to get listed high, usually the first page, with your site advertisement while you are working on other methods to have your site ranked well within the search engines. PPC's can send hundreds of visitors to your Website depending on your keyword bids. Make sure sure your advertisement corresponds to the content of your Website or sales page. If visitors read the information in your ad, and then read something completely different on your Website, you will have just lost a possible sale. 4. Start up your own email autoresponder program, newsletter, or blog. This is the best way to start developing your customer base. If you haven't heard this before... Your profits are in your lists! I know of several internet marketers who make a tremendous amount of money off their customer list they generate from their newsletter or blog. Put an Opt-In sign on your Website, newsletter or blog to have visitors subscribe. You need to have a steady customer base to sell your information, products or upgrades to. This is critical for your online success. Potential Proscpects need to hear from you several times before they buy to assure them confidence in you. Your auto-responder email program, newsletter or blog will keep information in front of them, week after week, before they are even ready to make a purchase. 5. Lastly, start to write articles and submit them to real publishers. I recommend Article Pro Software for this. You can find it at: ArticleProSoftware. I am not talking about submitting articles to the major article directories where they don't care about subject matter. This is where Article Pro Software is so different. It submits your real article to actual real publishers. The major article directories accept all types of articles. They don't care because they don't have a real "Harley Davidson" audience that is interested in articles about Harley's. Their audience is the authors themselves that want to see their own articles and want to increase the Alexa ranking of the article directory. There are no prospects or customers involved. What is worse is the "made for Adsense" site scrapers that come to these large directories and grab massive amounts of information for their junk Websites that are propelled by Google Adsense. Submitting articles to real publishers is a great way to increase your page ranking through the inbound links generated by submitting articles. The more inbound links you have from article marketing, the more traffic you will generate which you can convert into sales. Article submissions are my #1 way to generate traffic and increase your page ranking. In summary, running a successful and profitable Internet business is really that simple. It's just a matter of having your own information Website or product, getting listed in the three major search engines, run some PPC ads, start building a customer list, and start submitting real articles to real publishers. -Craig S. When will i receive visitors to my website

I just finished my website and I am ready to go. I sit and wait and I do not see any traffic, why is this. I thought if I designed a nice website and published it on the internet I should be receiving tons of traffic, where is everyone. What do I have to do to get traffic? Is there a secret that I don't know? No there is no secret. You just need to know the basics, you can receive paid traffic the next day or you can take the free route and be patient and wait for traffic, the choice is yours. Most people want traffic yesterday. Here are a couple of ways you can get traffic quickly, but you will need shell out the dollars to do it. 1. You could pay for PPC advertising; this is basically advertising on search engines and having your ad show up in the sponsor section. 2. You could pay for banner ads on high traffic websites. For instance I read about a person who paid $2000 dollars for 1 month on a banner ad that was on a website that received thousands of visitors a day. From this $2000 they made $20,000 dollars from sales. 3. You can place ads on popular video websites, so when visitors watch the videos they will see your advertisement. 4. Buy text links on high traffic sites. If you are patient there are other ways of creating traffic, but it will take time to do. Here are a couple of free suggestions to start creating traffic to your website. Do not expect traffic for about 30 days. It will start slow but your traffic will build overtime. 1. Write articles about your business and submit them to article directories 2. Submit your website to directories 3. Create videos and publish them on video sites. 4. Write a press release and distribute the press release 5. Use the social bookmark sites 6. Make your content easy to understand so many people can understand and spread your message. 7. Trade your articles with other webmasters 8. Create a piece of software code that others can use on their website 9. Post to a forum, build your reputation 10. Post to a blog, build your reputation 11. Publish RSS feed 12. Write testimonials for other webmasters products (make sure you receive a link back to your site.) By using these methods that I listed, you will create traffic to your website. It will just take some time to do. Don't forget something very important about the methods I listed, you must get links back to your website. These are like votes from other websites letting the search engines know that your website is an authority website. So when you are posting to a forum make sure you create your link in the signature. If you are creating a video make sure the video site you are submitting your video to has away of linking back to you or make sure you include your link in the video itself. You want to make sure that people can find your website. The name of the game is getting many 'one way links' to your website as possible. These links will help your website move up in the search engine rankings. The more popular your website is the faster your website climbs to page one.

Laptop workstations taking the lap out of laptop

More and more office workers and students are turning in their traditional desktop computers for laptops. Offering mobility and the convenience of having only one computer, without the need to email files or save on flash drives, laptops are surpassing their heavier, bulkier, and more expensive cousins all over the world. And just as we were starting to get this desktop computer ergonomics thing right. After years of OSHA guidelines and the development of the correct types of keyboard trays and tilting monitor arms, we go and decide to use a device that allows for none of that. So what now? Now that laptops are making the transition to being full-time computers instead of the once-in-a-while device we use when we aren't at our "regular computers," how do we make sure that all the problems associated with non-ergonomic computer use don't come flooding back? According to Cornell University, "laptops violate basic ergonomic design requirements, so using a laptop is a trade off between poor neck/head posture and poor hand/wrist posture." That's the bad news. What can we do to make sure we neutralize the poor ergonomics associated with laptops? First, the best thing to do, is to modify your work station at home or the office to be ideal for both laptop use and ergonomics. We found a great laptop workstation from Versa Products, Inc. called the Versa Table. It allows the user to position the laptop, as suggested by experts at Cornell, on the desktop so that he/she may see the screen without bending his/her neck. The Versa Table has a height-adjustable desktop, so it's perfect for almost any height. The folks at Cornell also suggest using a separate mouse and keyboard. The Versa Table has you covered there as well. You can add an articulating keyboard arm and an additional, adjustable platform especially for a mouse (the nice thing—it can be mounted to the left or right of the keyboard depending on whether you're right or left-handed). The Versa Table comes in various sizes—small ones fit nicely in dorm rooms or compact offices, while larger ones are ideal replacements for the typical office desk. They also come in six distinct color combinations to fit your room's pre-existing color scheme. The best accessory? Versa also offers a Lockable Laptop Drawer that allows the user to secure his/her laptop at the desk and leave with the key, knowing the laptop won't be missing upon his/her return. The steel locking case is mounted to the underside of the Versa Table – or your own desk—and slides easily under the desktop for storage when not in use. In addition, the design of the locking drawer allows the user to charge his/her laptop while it's locked away to maintain battery life. As if that weren't enough… the whole outfit can be put together with all the bells and whistles for under $500. As with all of Versa's products and accessories, the Versa Table and aforementioned accessories carry a lifetime warranty and are shipped for free within in the contiguous United States.

Getting started with your new home business

I think the first thing to say is that whenever starting out in any new business venture there will be an initial amount to spend before the returns come in. With internet marketing, despite many scams, we need to focus exactly on what we intend to promote and in all cases we need a website to do this. Many web sites can be bought through an affiliate program the details of which are found on my websites. One product in particular I ought to mention is the recently introduced program by Richard Legg. I am promoting these because he provides you with video tutorials on how to create your own website; even simple web pages can be effective in providing an income. However for the newbie who wants a web site pre installed and written the best one on the net has to be the one provided by Stone evans. His material is specifically designed for the new home business starter. If buying a website is too expensive for now, then the blog pages at Google are Free, particularly the one known as 'Blogger'. There are many templates to choose from and in my opinion of high quality. Uploading stuff to is quite simple. I chose the colour scheme on my Message Board page to tie in with that on my blog page. This is always a good idea when promoting a theme through Affiliate Market Force. As soon as we have, therefore a website/blog or both up and running, we need to promote that website. A good starter page to do this is found at subscribeme. net/ whereby you can get your webpage advertised for FREE. And not only that, they it will be advertised to over 1 000 000 Ezine users. How about that for starters? I hope to be posting more tips here on a weekly basis so look out for my articles and why not join our discussion board the link as below through my blog page?

San francisco office space makes you part of everybody s favorite city

When people list their favorite travel destination in California, the name at the top is usually San Francisco. Why not move your business office to San Francisco and enjoy the rewards of working and living in one of the most unique cities in America? Renting office space in this remarkable city can be yours with amazingly flexible and cost-effective terms. Instead of getting ensnared in the usual long-term lease from the standard commercial leasing companies, there is available in San Francisco, modern and fully functional offices you can rent for a day, week, month or whatever length of time you need. Terms like that are seldom available with regular renters of commercial office space. Let’s say that you are building new facilities in San Francisco, but office space is needed right away, at least on a temporary basis. You can always look for the same old type of commercial office space. However, as mentioned before, you’d probably be persuaded into a lengthy and expensive lease agreement which you simply cannot justify or afford in terms of its impact on your company’s bottom-line. Or, you might be expanding your business and cannot fit all of your employees in your current building. Leasing temporary office space just makes practical sense for a variety of reasons. The terms offered will be customized to accommodate an individual start-up company who may only need an office space one day a week to a fully established corporation who needs several spaces nationally or globally on a short or long-term basis. Living and working in the heart of San Francisco is not as difficult as one might think. Fortunately there are companies referred to as executive suite providers, whose main goal is to help you find exactly what you are looking for. An extra feature is you won’t have to get bogged down by purchasing office furniture or hiring secretaries and receptionists, these are provided for you. Plus, instead of going through lengthy negotiations and signing complicated leases that are typical with San Francisco commercial office space, you sign only a simple contract and move right in.

Attractive enhancements for your blog

Deciding on a blog design solution and implementing it is certainly a sound business decision and should reward the online web site owner with a vast amount of traffic as well as paying customers. Creating a blog is simple, painless, and easy to maintain. Popular blogging sites like WordPress and Blogger offer personalized services, numerous template designs, friendly search engine rankings, and helpful tutorials. Taking advantage of these opportunistic offerings should be a component of any successful online business venture. However, there is more to a blog than simply setting it up, performing routine maintenance, and providing periodic entries. Potential customers and visitors need to have good reasons for visiting your blog and remain as regular loyalists. Several enhancements to a blog can entice and deliver more web surfers when used effectively. One enhancement that should be seriously considered is the use of video clips. Written text is obviously important and it's the cornerstone of any blog, but adding the occasional video clip can only serve to magnify an online web site's existence. Stephanie Collen, an online business marketer for a major clothing firm, describes the changes when video was introduced to the retailer's site. "Our site was text driven with many pictures and it seemed to be working effectively. When we added video clips to the mix, the results were amazing. A thirty-seven percent increase in traffic and sales rose by twenty-one percent. Video clips are here to stay at our site". Video supplies and software can be found at many places on the internet. Another blogging business tip involves the use of audio clips and should be another feature for your blog. Collen also suggests using audio as an enhancement for your blog. "When we added video to the site, audio clips were phased out. Many customers complained and the audio section was restored much to their delight. We quickly learned that sound bites sell and never go out of style. It will continue to be a part of our marketing". Adding a few audio clips at opportune spaces on your blog will increase traffic flow and yield new customers. Audio equipment, supplies, and software can also be found at many places on the internet. If the aforementioned enhancements are too much for your budget at this time, consider using pictures as a tool for driving more visitors to your site. Visual enhancements can sell far better than text only and is appealing to virtually every visitor. Also, if you have a blogging site such as 360 Blog Yahoo, Blogger, or WordPress, you can insert custom-made graphics . Graphics and photo editing software can easily be found with an internet search. Be sure to use the tools that meet your standards. A blog design solution that incorporates stunning enhancements will make every blogging experience a rewarding endeavor. By using video, audio, and graphical improvements, your online business blog will witness a surge in visitors and customers.

Pitfalls of affiliate marketing

Affiliate marketing is an excellent way to earn money, however there are several pitfalls that you'll need to be aware of. Just earning money alone is not enough for most people. The next logical step is to try to earn more money by doing less work. If you do is a quick online search for "work from home" or "make fast cash" you'll instantly find tens of millions of websites, just click on a few and you'll see most of them start off the same. Some rich guy standing in front of a big fancy house giving the illusion of wealth. This could not be farther from reality a lot of the time! The best way to earn a good consistant income online is to put in the man hours needed in developing and growing a business opportunity. As the saying goes "nothing in this world is free" is very true. You get out what you put into something, so if you want to make good money online be prepared to work for it. The amount of money you can earn will depend on the amount of commitment, work, and desire you are willing to invest. In your search for affiliate programs that are ethical, honest, and good money makers you can do a simple search at any search engine. When you find an affilaate program you're interested in put it in the search box and follow it with the word "scam". If anyone has been scammed by these people in the past someone will talk about it and it will come up in the search results. This is a simple way to check up on the opportunity you are thinking about. I would not use it as the only way of finding out if a know affilate program is conducting themselves in a bad way. You can also do a search for "resources for detecting scams" and get a lot of good info and sites to check out. Also never signup for an offer if they don't disclose the compensation plan up front. Beware any programs that want you to signp before they give you that information. You can also go to affiliatescams/ it's a free message board with the sole purpose of others posting suspicious activities and various ways they have been scammed. It's an awesome resource and I highly recommend it.

Wall mounted jib cranes

In order to effectively lift and maneuver unwieldy and extremely heavy materials and objects around the workplace, wall mounted jib cranes are probably the best available solution, and offer a great deal of flexibility and high performance to ensure maximum wallproductivity gains are enjoyed. There are a number of material benefits of a wall mounted jib crane over other similar alternatives, and these benefits vary between accessibility issues to the level of weight that can be moved, as well as the overall stability offered by the unit when it is in use as a lifting agent. Perhaps the most important benefit of mounting a crane on a wall rather than having it set as a floor based movable gantry is that when mounted on a wall, and secured into place, the space that is required on the floor is minimized. By allowing operators and machinists to have 360 degree access to materials on their benches, you can ensure that they are able to carry out tasks much more quickly, and thereby improve their work productivity. Different cranes are required for different tasks, and wall mounted jib cranes are most useful in situations where your staff need to be able to lift extremely heavy objects into place in order to work on them or carry out eye level inspections. A wall mounted jib crane must be securely installed, and when properly fitted and tested, weights of around 2,000 pounds can be lifted by the arm. Rotation of 180 degrees is possible where space allows, and with a jib length of up to 89 inches available, these units offer a wide range of access to make manipulation of otherwise unwieldy objects a much simpler proposition. The ideal method of mounting one of these units for optimal security is on a vertical girder. The actual height can be set appropriate to your business needs, but it is recommended that for safety the minimum height of the jib should be well above head height. The jib must be fitted horizontally, and is supported by an 85 inch cable for stability. The actual lifting gear can be moved along the jib, as required, and both electrically powered and manual lifting is possible depending on the individual installation. Where a lower roof space precludes the use of a cable staying system, a wall mounted jib crane with a cantilever is recommended. Thanks to a back weighting, similar levels of stability are possible, although the overall weight of the unit is marginally higher. Performance levels are identical, with lifting capabilities up to 2,000 pounds possible, while a 90 inch jib length means excellent access to a wider area of the work shop floor and more flexibility for staff. Regardless of the exact system that you opt to install in your workplace, you will find that the wall mounted jib cranes are both efficient and hardwearing and will serve you well in the long term. Purchasing one of these fine lifting systems should be seen as an investment in, rather than a cost to, your business.

Keys to getting return customers to your internet business

There is no better way to make money than making it from return customers. Return customers is the ultimate sign that you are running your internet business efficiently. It proves to you that your work is actually worthwhile and people are recognizing your expertise on a particular subject. So how exactly can you work towards reeling in return customers for your internet marketing business? The number one factor to getting return customers is obviously customer service. However, it is more than just customer service. It is how you approach the customers. You always want to respond to a customer's request or question on the same day you receive your email, regardless of how many emails you receive each day. Depending on the size of your internet business it may take you hours to respond to each email, but trust me it will be worth it. You want to personalize each message that you respond to. There is a number of automated software that you can purchase to respond for you immediately, but they all sound the same. Customers will appreciate the time you take to answer to their needs or write a personalized message thanking them for their business and wishing them luck in their internet business venture. Another part of customer service is going out of your way to help your customers expand their business. Ask them if they need any help or if you can be of any assistance to them. Tell them your secrets to how you got where you are now. In doing so, you will not only get a great deal of praise from that customer, but will most likely get referrals and testimonials spread across the internet. Aside from customer service, providing your customers with timely service will impress them. People on the internet are used to being treated last. Too many businesses are handling multiple customers and don't take the time to deliver the product in a timely fashion. If you can send your customers the product with a thank you message within a few days, depending on the order of course, your internet marketing business will be superior of those around you. Lastly, deliver a quality product and the customer will come back for more. If you have an article writing business, customers will return to the internet business if they are satisfied with the articles. If you sell clothes, people will return to your business if they are satisfied. Getting return customers is a great feeling because it is the ultimate compliment. There are a number of ways you can go about getting return customers, but you have to be willing to take the time to recognize your customers and associate yourself with them. If you can acknowledge your customers demands and deliver in a timely fashion, your internet marketing business will soon be reeling in return customers on a daily basis.

Don t waste any pages on your website even the ones that don t exist

I gave some advice recently to someone who’s website wasn’t quite ready. They owned the domain, they had the hosting organized, but because their website wasn’t ready they just let the webhost default page stay there. To me that’s a waste of valuable online real estate ! why advertise your host when you are paying them and it should be YOU getting the benefit if anyone happens to come across your site. So what do you do? Well for a start, don’t put up one of those annoying “under construction” banners, if anything is going to drive people away from your website that will. It also gets frustrating if you put a “come back on the 20th” and by the 25th you’re still not ready ! You need to be able to find those people who have visited, before you are ready to launch. You need to be able to contact them and let them know when you are open for business. You need to start building a relationship with them right now. So if your website isn’t ready, use the time to start building your all important contact list. Put up a simple page telling people about your upcoming website and include an opt-in form for them to add their email address to be notified when the site is up and running. Don’t make it a complicated sign-up process, two fields are all that is necessary, name and email. (Do make sure it’s a double opt-in to show people that you won’t tolerate spam) Putting a page like this on your domain will serve two purposes, not only will you start to build up your contact list, and have a ready made database of potential customers to announce the launch of the site to. It also means that you won’t be under as much pressure to put a particular launch date on the site and then start to get stressed when you over-run and visitors are met with every stretching dates. So remember every page on your website should have a purpose, even when the website isn’t ready!

Creating seo sitemaps

For may web pages a SEO sitemap can useful to improve indeaxtion in search engines and with it performance. SEO stands for “Search Engine Optimization”, the process that aims to create or revise Internet sites so that it can be better found by search engines. The objective of SEO campaigns is to have websites appear in the top listing or first results page of search engines. Internet search engines, such as Google and A9, maintain a very large database of Web pages and available files. To do this, they devise a program called a web crawler, or spider. This software automatically and continuously surfs and hunts content in the Web. Pages that the spider finds are retrieved and indexed according to text content, giving more weight to titles and paragraph headers. Spiders never stop navigating the web from page to page, to index the relevant content of the Internet. Besides looking at the text of titles and headers, some programs are able to identify default tags and keep a library of these page keywords or key phrases in the index. When a user connects to the Internet types a query, which is automatically interpreted as keywords, the search engine scans the saved index and creates a list of web pages that is most appropriate to what the user is searching for. SEO will use all the combined techniques of keyword analysis, smart code, good content literature, link popularity study and website organization to place the subject web page as high as possible in the list of search results in search engines. Web pages displayed on the top of results pages are assumed to get the most attention, and therefore, opportunity for earnings for web businesses and pages with sponsor links. Search engines usually return a list of results ranking pages according to the number of Internet sites linked to them. Results can be classified as organic, or sponsored links. Sponsored links are shown prominently because their creators or agents paid the search engine. Sponsored links are the main source of income of search engines. “Organic” search results are the lists of actual results from the engines index and are directly related to the keyword typed in the request. One of the more effective techniques of SEO is the creation of a well-organized site map in a website. Since the site’s main page and other content are directly linked to a site map, spiders can more easily move through the website, identify the key words of the content, and index these for a search engine. This is where the SEO sitemap helps the website creator or administrator. Site maps are usually pages filled with links. These are shown as tables or lists, although lists are generally more effective. Writing code for SEO sitemaps is very easy and simple to format and maintain. These are ideally basic HTML pages with default tags, logical titles and keywords scattered in the Meta description. Introduction areas can contain more of the keywords. The site should have a main heading for every directory. A simple list layout helps reduce unnecessary tags that might “hide” your keywords. Some spiders give more weight to the following, than text in the normal body of the webpage: heading text, content within link elements, text nearer the top of the page and the text written for a link. Therefore, writing the keywords and links in these areas could somehow move up the web page’s ranking. This goes for SEO sitemaps as well. Web sites should be designed consistently, so navigation models should follow the flow of the site map. Therefore, the first section in the site map should be the first link in the navigation bar. In an SEO Sitemap, and most pages, the headings contain title attributes where more key phrases in the site map can be added. Keywords are generally well chosen and written in the body of a webpage. However, in an SEO site map with little text, key words should be added as much as possible. As much as possible, web links should follow web page titles, and must undergo SEO during coding. Care must be exercised not to cram the page with keywords and links, or the page will be interpreted as blatant spamming and not receive any traffic at all. There is no way to guarantee that a website will be shown in the topmost ranking of "organic" search results for an extended period of time. However, smart and responsible SEO sitemap techniques can be used to place the website high up in the search position. Regular monitoring and adjustment of the SEO Sitemap and search results would ensure that a website is kept near the top ranking and receiving lots of web user traffic.

E learning m learning in the process industries presenting the business case

Executive Summary: Today’s business depends heavily on employees who are trained in the right skills that they need to run the business. It is not for nothing that an ideal business organization is also called "The Learning Organization". With shortage of staff due to competitive pressures like downsizing and outsourcing, it is highly critical for any business to ensure that all of its employees are trained regularly. This is especially so, for businesses like the process industry (chemical processing, oil & gas production, refining, petrochemical manufacturing, etc) who are heavily involved in engineering and technology, because of the rapid changes and advancements (and equally rapid obsolescence) in technology today. Not just technology changes, but the employees of these businesses have to be regularly trained in safety aspects of plant operations, to ensure safety & environment compliance. Training employees and other stake-holders in your business regularly is a daunting task if attempted to do with the traditional instructor led training. In this White Paper, we examine the issues involved and see how e-learning can offer a better solution. The challenge of learning in the traditional way: In current times, in the process industries, there are several problems and issues related to learning in the traditional way. By traditional way, we mean attending a live class, or training workshop, or information seminar, where the expert teacher or instructor teaches a group of learners on the subject matter. The problems and issues include the following • Not all employees can be spared for such training at the same time. The employee has to travel away from the place of work for a full 2-3 days at the minimum. • Costs of travel and stay, if learners are coming from different locations to study. These costs can be pretty significant if air travel is involved. • Different employees may have different levels of grasping, hence even after undergoing the same course, each learner’s level of understanding will be different. • Pressure on Instructor to complete the course in shortest possible time. • No scope for learners to revise the course concepts or re-take the course again and again, unless the company has a policy of regular refresher training. However, typically this is done only for essential training like mandatory safety training, fire-fighting, etc. • Learning is a continuous process but instructor led training makes it a one shot event. Let us see now how this situation can be improved. The case for e-learning & m-learning: As can be seen from above, process technology has come a long way but people are still caught up in 18th century techniques to teach 21st century technology. How is this so? The traditional classroom based training, is a product of the industrial revolution of the 18th century. At that time, this kind of teaching was the state of the art. Now with the advent of the internet, broadband connections & excellent software, is teaching using these old methods OK? Certainly not! 21st century training has to be imparted to learners in 21st century fashion! Not in an obsolete way. Hence all over the world businesses, big or small, local or global are turning to e-learning & m-learning as a means of imparting effective learning. What does one mean by e-learning & m-learning.? E-learning can be defined as using computer technology, internet, multimedia & other technology to impart learning. M-learning is similar to e-learning except that, it happens not with a computer or laptop, but with a mobile phone. Advantages of e-learning & m-learning: The advantages of e-learning are: • No need to spare all employees at the same time. The employee can choose time and place of learning. • It will be self paced and if need be can be run again and again till employee is confidently well versed in the subject. • No time constraints. Learning can be in bite sized chunks or all at once-totally as per the learner’s need-rather than the instructor’s comfort. • Large number of courses can be managed through suitable LMS (Learning Management Systems) by a very small number of training administrators. The LMS can also document and log number of courses taken, test scores, time taken, etc for each learner which can provide intelligent data for developing your employee’s skills. • It results in measurable learning. Due to score tracking, progress tracking and time tracking, the performance of each employee undergoing the training becomes measurable. In earlier days with traditional training, this was typically not done. • Flexible course deployment---either through stand alone CD ROMs, Internet or a company wide Intranet. Hence no travel and stay expenses, which can be a substantial cost today. Geography is history. Learning can be anywhere, anytime at your convenience. An e-learning solution can be either off the shelf courses, or a custom designed course. Off the shelf courses: You can find several excellently designed off-the-shelf courses in several topic areas. For process industries, these include e-learning courses on Hazardous Area Instrumentation, RFID technology and Gas Monitors from Abhisam Software. To know more about these please visit abhisam Custom Designed courses: A custom designed course has to be designed keeping in mind the audience, goals of the course, time allotted to the course and testing requirements. You should ensure that a custom designed course provider can provide to you all these resources at competitive costs. Often custom designed courses tend to be very very expensive. For most standard topics you can safely assume that the standard off the shelf e-learning course is good enough. Use the right teaching tools in the course: Your off the shelf course provider should have produced the course not merely as a bunch of pages stuck together electronically but an integrated course consisting of text, flash based animations, graphics, photos, videos, exercises & simulations. It should also have a glossary & an assessment test. For example e-learning courses made by Abhisam Software have all of these features. Also the arrangement of the course material should have a logical progression, starting from basic concepts going to more advanced topics. Going beyond traditional courses-Electronic Learning Manuals ( Not just e-books): One should think of going beyond just traditional courses and putting all of your company’s user manuals, procedures, maintenance manuals and installation guides into e-learning modules. This is especially useful for companies who sell capital equipment and need to train their customers thoroughly. Instead of supplying a staid user manual (with perhaps a three day course thrown in for good measure) it would be a better option to convert all this knowledge into an e - learning module which can then be used teach everybody who needs to know it anytime. Say, your company makes an oil fired heater and needs to train the customers in its operation. What better way to train than do it through an e-learning course which through the right combination of text matter, graphics, animation and sound can create quite a lasting impact. This kind of audio-visual training has better retention amongst plant operators than going though a dull manual. ( Please note that we are not talking here of e-books or e-manuals, which are nothing but soft copies of the same dull manuals! ) These kind of modules can be hosted on the company’s website and used to impart very effective training to even faraway customers in a cost effective manner. Does your e-learning service provider have this kind of service? Deployment: Ideally courses which are organization-specific should be able to be deployed immediately in a cost effective manner. The easiest way to do this is to buy the course from a service provider who does not ask you to install any specialized or expensive software. You should be able to take the course directly by using your PC or laptop & logging in to the course provider’s site via a web browser like Internet Explorer. All of Abhisam Software’s online courses are hosted online by Abhisam Software & its business partners and are available to you instantly by just visiting the course pages. No special software is needed. Thus you can get trained on subjects like Hazardous Area Instrumentation, Gas Monitors or RFID almost immediately. If you do have a Learning Management System (LMS for short) already installed in your company then your e-learning course provider must be able to give you courses that are compatible with your LMS. Most LMS these days conform to the SCORM or AICC standards and so the courses must also follow these standards. All of Abhisam Software’s e-learning courses are also available in SCORM or AICC compatible formats. Conclusion: e-learning is a technology whose time has arrived and companies, especially those in the Process Industries now have compelling reasons to adopt it, which was not the case a few years back. If you are not considering e-learning for your organization, then you are losing an excellent opportunity to sharpen skills, increase productivity and thus increase the general skill level of your organization, at a fraction of the cost of traditional learning. If you are unsure about how e-learning can help your company or organization, don’t hesitate. Contact us now and get a free no obligation consultation.

Myspace networking vs. creating a stand alone web site

How do I create a web site? How do I start selling online? How do I make money using the Internet? Is Internet Marketing Valid? People who know me and know that I'm a web developer and programmer ask me a lot of questions about web sites, web pages, HTML code, CSS, JavaScript code, ASP, PHP, Databases like MS SQL and MySQL. One question I answer often is: Should I create my own web site or use a "free" site like MySpace? Sometimes instead of MySpace, it's the free web space that comes with their ISP account they're asking about, but the question is really the same. Establishing a web presence with a professional image requires your own web site and domain name. MySpace is awesome, however it's a social networking tool used to "network" or find people and stay in touch with them. Like most of the tools in your toolkit, it has a function and can be very useful. Use MySpace and other social networks as a marketing resource: to help people discover you or your business and lead them to your main web site. If you are in business, or a serious amateur or hobbyist, you need your own web site. You can setup profiles on all of the social networking sites like MySpace and use those profiles to direct people to your web site. But you need your own web site and domain name. Each site like MySpace has rules and will sometimes delete accounts, either for breaking the rules, or by mistake. You don't want your only site on the Internet exposed to this kind of risk. In addition, you want to look as professional as you possibly can. How do I get started? How do I start my own web site? I'll outline the steps. 1) Domain Names: You need to register a domain name. Select a name that is as short as possible and that reflects your site's function. There are sites on the Internet that you can use to help research this. Once you decide on a domain name that's available, you need to pay for it - this is called registering. You can register it for 1 year up to several years. I use registerFly for this. They also have a domain spinner tool that can help you find available domain names; you simply enter two words and the tool makes variations and combination of the names and checks their availability. 2) Web Hosting: You need to a place for your web site. There are a lot of hosting providers you can choose from. They all work in a similar fashion. You rent space on a web server and bandwidth (traffic to and from the server) by the month for your web site. Prices range from less than $20 per month all the way up to the sky depending on how much space and bandwidth you're using. I can recommend a hosting service if you need help selecting one. 3) Putting the domain name and hosting together: If you registered your domain name with a different service than the hosting provider, you'll have to tell the domain name registrar where your web site is hosted. You do this by telling the registrar the addresses of the "name servers" of the hosting facility. The hosting provider will usually configure your DNS (domain name server) records for you web site on their DNS server and you need to give the name server's address to the registrar of your domain name so that your domain name points to the correct DNS servers. It sounds complicated, but it's really not. If you registered with the same service that you're using for a hosting provider, then this is usually done for you. 4) Create the site: Finally, make your web site. You should spend some time researching popular web sites of the same type as the one you intend to build. This will give you a good idea of what works in that area. One of the keys to being successful in any area is to follow the lead of someone who's already successful. Find some successful sites by doing searches on Google, Yahoo, or MSN and looking at the top sites that are returned. Even if you have no experience making web sites, you can still create a very nice web site. I offer online courses for beginners on how to create web sites - see my info below for the link. In a few hours you can have a very nice looking, functional web site. I hope this helps clear up some of the confusion about web sites, social networking sites like MySpace, and how to start your own web site.
