America s housewives share their secrets

Star of television's "Desperate Housewives," Alfre Woodard is sharing some secrets - no, not from Wisteria Lane, but from America's desperate, and not so desperate, housewives. The Emmy Award-winning actress says that a recent survey by Harris Interactive has uncovered some provocative secrets of real American housewives. "In fact, many of the findings would make great fodder for the storyline on the show," said Woodard. According to the Playtex® Secrets® survey of more than 1,300 married U. S. women, nearly three out of four (72 percent) say they have a deep secret, but more than one in three have not divulged it to anyone. Nearly half (44 percent) say they've had a secret crush. Surprisingly, nearly half of those women (48 percent) are secretly crushing on someone they work with-a co-worker, colleague or even their boss. Even more revealing, about one in five (21 percent) admit to having secretly admired their husband's friend(s). Three in 10 married women (29 percent) describe their relationship with their mother-in-law as one of toleration. Shockingly, as many as one in five (20 percent) say they'd love for their husband's mother to move in with them. About three in five married ladies (61 percent) say they gossip. Among those who do, 31 percent say they tell tales about their boss, co-workers or colleagues, while three in 10 (30 percent) dish about their neighbor(s). More than one in four (28 percent) chit-chat about their in-laws, while one in five (22 percent) talk about their husbands. The survey was conducted by Playtex® Secrets®, a beautiful and elegant intimate apparel line for full-size women, to highlight the introduction of its new Legacy Lace™ collection. Each style offers such hidden comfort features as breathable Airform fabric. Each bra incorporates luxurious feminine detailing, such as lace and scalloped edging, features designed to help make women feel confident and beautiful. Sizes range from 36 to 44 C, D and DD. Such fashionable bras could quickly become a woman's best-kept secret weapon.

Auto insurance quotes

By taking the time to shop for and compare auto insurance quotes, you can find the best policy that is right for you, and many times you can lower the cost of your auto insurance coverage. Many drivers see auto insurance as a necessary expense, but one that is distasteful to them. When asked if they'd pay for auto insurance if it wasn't required by law, some admit that if they didn't have to pay for auto insurance they'd save themselves the money. The truth is that given the right insurance, in unexpected circumstances it can be very beneficial to have paid those insurance premiums every month. Auto insurance can provide financial protection and help prevent severe financial hardship in the event of an unexpected accident. Shopping around and getting auto insurance quotes from several companies can allow you to compare the companies, their policies, and the cost of their premiums. In order to effectively do this though, you need to have enough information to make a real comparison between one set of auto insurance quotes and another. This information can help you make sure that you get the coverage you need from a good company at the lowest rate. So what should you do to make sure that you get the most accurate auto insurance quotes available? Here are some suggestions from experts: 1. Make sure that you compare similar policies. Auto insurance quotes take into account the types of coverage you select, the amount of deductibles you're willing to pay and a number of other factors when figuring your premium. In order to accurately compare a number of quotes, make sure that each quote you request is for the same options on your policy. 2. Give the same amount of information to each agent that you ask for auto insurance quotes. Whether you're comparing quotes online through a web interface or over the telephone, the amount that you're quoted will be affected by where you live, how far you drive to work each day, how old you are, who else may drive your car, as well as a number of other factors. The more information you can give when you ask for a quote, the more accurate the insurance agent can be with his estimate. The opposite of that holds true, too – the less information you give, the more general the quote will be. If there is any question, an agent will usually quote you a higher rate. 3. Ask about special discounts for safety features as well as safe driver points. When you're gathering quotes for auto insurance, be sure to ask directly about safety feature discounts and safe driver discounts that may apply in your situation. Then you can be sure that they are included in your quotes. 4. Understand the differences in insurance terminology. What is the difference between collision coverage and comprehensive coverage? How can raising your deductible lower your insurance costs? What will replacement transportation or glass coverage cost, and is it worth it for you? Researching the answers to these questions and knowing which options are included in your auto insurance quotes will make it far easier to decide which is the best policy for you. How your credit report affects your financial situation

Many people view credit reports like a visit to the dentist - it's something that has to be done but they don't like it. This is especially true for people who have had financial problems in their past, but the fact is it's important to be familiar with your credit report because if you ever need to apply for a loan, that is where the lender will get their information. There are 3 major crediting reporting services in the US: Equifax: PO Box 740241, Atlanta, GA 30374 Transunion: PO Box 2000, Chester, PA 19022 Experian: PO Box 2002, Allen, TX 75013 Your credit report contains a history of your credit cards, car loans, home loans and other debt. It shows any late payments, how late they were, 30 day past due, 60 day past due, etc. Any qualified lender has access to that information - a bank, mortgage lender, credit card companies and certain other parties during legal proceedings. The credit reporting agencies do their best to keep accurate records, but errors can creep into your report. This is one of the main reasons you need to keep on top of your credit report - these errors can have a negative effect on any financial matters if left uncorrected. Some of the more common errors include loans that have been repaid still showing as active and long-cancelled credit cards still showing as active. By getting copies of your reports from all 3 agencies, you'll be able to review them for any errors or inaccuracies. They can be corrected, however. You'll need proof of the error, which you'll need to send by registered mail to the credit reporting service along with the details of the error. Ask them to correct the data - by law they need to investigate any errors reported to them. Recent legislation has made it so that you can obtain one free copy of your credit report annually, so as long as you don't request more than one per year you shouldn't have to pay for it.

What to see and do in dubai

Dubai, a relatively new tourist destination, is basically a desert city with excellent infrastructure and superb tourist amenities. Its liberal policies as well as its convenient location just three hours away from most Asian countries and five hours away from Europe, make Dubai very popular as a short-break destination for tourists from both countries that are looking for exciting shopping, fine dining, great partying and a host of unique sporting events. Though Dubai can get extremely humid and hot in the summer months, with temperatures touching 50 degrees Celsius from May to September, it is a great place to visit during the more pleasant months of September to April. As a prerequisite to obtaining a tourist visa to Dubai, your passport should be valid for a minimum of six months before your arrival. Individuals who intend to spend less than thirty days in the United Arab Emirates may apply for a tourist visa, whereas visit visas are issued to those who intend spending more than 30 days in the country. Dubai, a city of superlatives, is home to the tallest, highest, largest and fastest. It is home to Burj Dubai, which upon completion in 2008 will be the tallest building in the world, surpassing the Taipei 101 in Taiwan. Dubai offers visitors a host of unique experiences including the exciting Dune Bashing, thrilling hot air balloon rides, golfing or for something entirely different - sand golfing. Visitors to Dubai can experience the extreme as they go skiing and snowboarding in the large, specially built snow skiing center or go sand-skiing and sand boarding in the hot desert sands. Wild Wadi, a water amusement park, in the heart of the city is a great place for kids and adults alike. The Overnight Desert safari is as different but just as exciting as the Morning Desert safari. The Dubai Dhow Cruise takes you sailing down the Dubai Creek while aboard a wooden dhow that is traditionally decorated. Marvel at the major landmarks that are beautifully lit up at night as you take a midnight cruise for a completely different experience. With so much to see and do in Dubai, maybe you’d need much more than just a short break after all.

Three reasons you should not do shoulderstand

Shoulderstand – (Sarvangasana) “Healthy thyroid means healthy functioning of all the organs of the body” The Shoulderstand is called the Queen of all asanas as it benefits the whole body. It is a forward-bending posture engaging all parts of the body and stretching the shoulders, neck and upper back. In the Shoulderstand the whole body is supported by the hands, arms and shoulders. As the body is inverted the blood flows to the heart without any strain by force of the gravity. The Shoulderstand nourishes the thyroid gland which: regulates the body’s metabolism, controls the heart rate, promotes the growth and balances the digestive and nervous system. This asana tones the legs and abdomen increasing circulation to those areas. It massages the abdominal organs and it relieves stress. Because of the enriched blood flow to the brain it also relieves emotional and mental stress, headaches and it is very tranquilising. Three important reasons you should not do Shoulderstand: 1) If you have High Blood Pressure the posture is better to avoid. 2) Anyone who has Cervical Spondylities should not attempt to practice this pose because as you hold the pose the weight of the body is taken through the neck. 3) If you have Glaucoma or Detached Retina please, avoid the Shoulderstand as it could worsen the condition. When you are in the Shoulderstand there will be a sensation of extra pressure and tension in the neck because of the severe flexion in the neck. Your eyes, ears and face may also experience an increased sensation of pressure. During the Shoulderstand the expansion of the chest is restricted leading to breathe at the rates of not less than eight breaths per minutes, and in many cases up to twenty breaths per minute. During holding this posture the blood pressure in the brain will be an average of 110mmHg. Issued in the interest of people practicing Hatha Yoga by Subodh Gupta, Yoga Expert based in London.

To niche or not to niche

(c) 2005, Michael Beauchamp, e-BizResources Unless you've been hibernating for the last couple of years, you've probably heard the term "Niche Marketing" a lot. It's one of the current buzz-words in online marketing. Which is kind of funny really since niche marketing has actually been around pretty much as long as marketing has existed. But what is it? I recently read somewhere that "All marketing is Niche Marketing". I don't entirely agree with that - I'd say "ALMOST ALL marketing is Niche Marketing". Niche Marketing is marketing products or services to groups of people (or businesses) who have specific needs or interests in common. Obviously department stores and their online cousins don't fit that description, but almost everything else is ... you guessed it; "Niche Marketing". In the physical world, your local butcher, baker and candlestick maker (sorry, a LITTLE joke there - very little), greengrocer, shoe store, etc, etc. all cater to niche markets, some more focused than others. And in the online world, any web site that focuses on a particular topic is a niche web site, and that describes the vast majority of web sites online today and in the past. So, those that are marketing any kind of product or service are probably already into "Niche Marketing", and may not even know it. Some niches are more crowded and competitive than others. The niches focusing on internet marketing and making money online are probably the most crowded and competitive online, and getting more so every day. So, it's becoming harder and harder for people just entering that market to make any inroads, let alone a big impact. But, don't panic, there are lots of other niches that are far less crowded and competitive. The current emphasis on "Niche Marketing" could probably be more accurately termed; "marketing to niches other than the 'making-money' niche". Which opens up a lot of possibilities for people just starting out in online business. Do you have a hobby or hobbies? Play a sport? What are your interests, are you passionate about or obsessed with a particular subject or activity? (keep it clean, folks) If so, chances are there are other people who share the same interest and that's a potential Niche Market! The same applies to any other hobbies and interests that you could name. You need to do some research to determine if a particular niche or a related "sub-niche" is likely to be profitable. For example, you'll need to check out: 1. Demand - how many people are searching online for related info and/or products. 2petition - how many other websites or businesses are already catering to that market? 3. Are people actually spending money in this niche? Now that's all well and good, but ... How do you find out all that stuff? And that brings us to ... The Free Download: "Think Niche & Grow Rich" This great little ebook not only explains in more detail what niche marketing is and why you should get involved, but it also gives you a step-by-step guide to researching niche markets, creating products quickly and getting them online. You'll find a number of free resources that you can use if you're short on cash but have some time to spare. Did you know that you can get answers for the above three research topics using free tools at Overture and Google? Another helpful free tool is the software, "Good Keywords". Besides the free tools mentioned in "Think Niche & Grow Rich", you'll also learn about a fantastic software tool that's dead easy to use and will speed up the process by automating most of the research steps for you. I'm sure you'll learn heaps from this ebook and give your profits a long term boost. To download it now, click the link: e-bizresources/thinkniche Whichever route you decide to take, once you've got one niche site up and working well, you can move on and set up another, then another - as many as you want. And it'll get easier with each one you do. So, as with most things I talk about, the next step is to take action, and do it now. Don't worry about getting everything perfect straight away or first time out, just get started. Happy Niche Marketing.

Noel edmonds rises to the top with deal or no deal

Deal or No Deal has become one of the most popular television game shows in the UK. The show began broadcasting in October 2005 and airs afternoons 6 days a week. The show has awarded almost Ј5 million total with an average of Ј16,100 being won each show. Noel Edmonds had already had a long career radio and television but it has been Deal or No Deal which has rocketed him to fame. The game itself is fairly simple and yet it can be difficult as the contestants must decide at what price they will sell out and walk away from the chance of winning big money. It works like this. At the beginning of the show a contestant is chosen and presented with 22 sealed boxes which contain various amounts of money. The player then opens 5 of those boxes to reveal the dollar amount therein. After opening the first five, the banker will then assess the dollar amounts left in play and make an offer to the player. The contestant can accept the offer and the game is over. The player can also say, "No deal!" In that case, he continues to open the boxes three at a time followed by an offer. He may accept an offer at any time one is offered and end the game or the player can refuse all offers and hold out to the very end of the game. Of course, it would only make sense to do so if there were still big money pots in play. The fun part of the game is watching the contestants trying to decide if they should go for a big jackpot or walk away with a smaller but guaranteed prize. There are many tense moments during the show and emotions run high since such large sums of money are at stake. The game has proven to be wildly popular much to everyone’s pleasant surprise. Initially, only 66 shows were planned but the response was so overwhelming that Channel 4 ordered another 230 shows. The formula for Deal or No Deal seems to be a winning one as the game show is popular in many countries with millions of viewers around the world. It isn’t hard to see why it is so popular. Who wouldn’t want the chance to win Ј250,000? Even for those of us who will never make it to the show in person, Deal or No Deal holds a fascinating appeal as we watch people battle the odds for a chance at winning Ј250,000. Deal or No Deal has helped Noel Edmonds stage a career comeback and Noel has been instrumental in making the game show the success that it is today.

Broadway makes new york sing

Broadway Makes New York Sing Whenever I think of a trip to New York City whether for a vacation or just a short one or two-day visit I can't help but think of Broadway and the delightful shows that await in these hallowed halls of entertainment delight. Broadway is the essence of New York to me. It can in turns be bawdy, brawling, loud, rowdy, soft, romantic, comedic, and rip-roaringly hilarious. Broadway has it all for those who are willing to look for their perfect fit. The problem with Broadway is that there are so many wonderful shows to see and such limited time (for most of us) in which to see them. I don't even believe those who live in New York City have enough time in which to appreciate the artistic treasure trove that is represented within this wonderful city that never sleeps. The truth of the matter is that in order to properly enjoy all the theatrical offerings available to you, you'd almost have to never sleep yourself. Musicals It is important to remember that all shows are not available at all times. Check to see if the show you wish to see will be playing during your visit before getting your hopes up. On to the musicals, which are, by the way, my favorite types of Broadway entertainment. Chicago the Musical, Forbidden Broadway (this one offers an hilarious 'spoof' of Broadway), Jersey Boys, Naked Boys Singing (yes, they are!), Phantom of the Opera, Rent, Wicked, and Mama Mia! Comedies Broadway is well known for thumbing its nose at convention as well as for letting it's hair down and having a good ole time. The same holds true for the Broadway theatre of todayedies and musicals on Broadway are not mutually exclusive so some of the hilarity mentioned below will have some degree of song and dance (well most likely quite a bit of both but you will definitely laugh). Let the comedies begin! I Love You, Your Perfect, Now Change (seriously, that's the name we're already off to a great start on the road to laughter). Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead (I think someone's been peeking in my kids windows at night-this one is actually off Broadway but I thought it bore mentioning with such a catchy title and all). Spamalot. This one is rising star with rave reviews by critics and a fairly good attendance rate so buy your tickets early! The Producers, which was recently made as a motion picture and The Little Dog Laughed round up my list of comedies. I hope you've seen something here that looks like a good laugh; I know I've seen a few! Drama While many people think of the happy go lucky song and dance that is often associated with Broadway there is a deep dramatic flare to the offerings as well. Particularly some of the musicals that carry with them profound messages about music, life and love-among these wonderful icons of Broadway are the following: Rent - a very La Boheme meets modern life musical that is probably one of the best Broadway musicals I've ever seen and I'm a huge fan of Phantom. Les Miserables is another Broadway drama that really needs no introduction, Grey Gardens is perfect for anyone who fears becoming a cat lady or spinster, A Chorus Line, Chicago, The Color Purple, Phantom of the Opera (my personal favorite), and The Vertical Hour (this is a new one let's hope it lasts). There are a few family friendly musicals and plays that bear mentioning among them are the following: Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera (may be a little frightening for younger children during certain scenes), Tarzan, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Momma Mia!, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Beauty and the Beast. You know your child best and what will or will not be frightening for them or possibly lead to uncomfortable questions for you, view most Broadway plays with that in mind. Broadway is a great way to really enjoy what New York has to offer its visitors for entertainment. While it would hardly be possible to see each and every show that might attract your attention it is quite possible to make the time to view the one that is most appealing to you and it will be quite an experience for the entire family. 730

Things you should know about low interest credit cards

Anyone who shops for a credit card wants the lowest interest rates available. Who doesn’t want the best deal? For many of us, the magic figure naturally is a zero percent, although we fail to notice the fine print that comes with every approved credit card application. A zero percent is an excellent rate and you can't go lower than that. The only catch is that this interest rate isn’t fixed and usually lasts from about six months to one year. After that, the interest rates hike up. Once the introductory period is over, you could be paying an interest rate of about 19% or even higher. Definitely not a good deal. So is the low interest rate credit card just a myth? Who gets it and where? Actually, many banks offer credit cards at low interest rates. You might need to do a little research and shop around. Your very own bank could be offering it and all you have to do to take advantage of better interest rates is to pick up the phone and give them a call. A short, simple negotiation can lower your interest rate several percentage points. There are also credit cards that have a low APR, but you'll have to qualify for them first before your bank issues them to you. Banks like to deal with consumers who have the lowest risk, which means you've got to have good to excellent credit rating. If your credit history has been spotless for a few years, you can go ahead and apply for a low interest credit card. If you've had troubles in the past, you might have to wait a few years or until after your credit rating has improved. What to look for in a low interest credit card Generally, a credit card with an interest rate that is less than 15% is considered as a low interest rate card. The key is to look for the fixed interest rate and not an APR with an expiration period. Ads that trumpet a 0% APR don’t really try too hard to inform you that it's really just an introductory rate. You will have to find that out for yourself by simply reading the fine print. Don’t be tempted by the promise of a 0% introductory rate if you do not foresee paying your balance within the period that the low interest rate is effective. Otherwise, you will end up paying more once the regular interest rate is imposed. Should you have a low interest credit card? Absolutely! A low interest credit card is a great way to save money on your transactions, especially if you regularly use your credit cards for paying goods and services. Low interest rate credit cards are also a great choice if you don’t pay your balances in full and have outstanding balances that carry over from one month to the next. Say for example your outstanding balance amounts to $1,500. With an interest rate of only 8%, you'll only have to pay $120 in interest per annum. That's $105 less than what you would have paid if you had a credit card with an interest rate of 15%. If you have several credit cards, you definitely will feel the difference. A low interest rate card will save you money in the long run. Even if you're considering transferring your balance to a credit card with a low introductory rate, you could still take advantage of the low interest if you can pay for the full amount of your credit card balance before the introductory period expires. You can also enjoy the benefits of consolidating all your credit card bills into one credit card with an interest rate that is light on your wallet. Like any other credit card, a low interest credit card can be used as an effective tool for managing your money. They offer a good bargain but only if they are used wisely and you as the consumer are informed of what you can truly expect.

The exit strategy you must have if all goes right

After a few years, you might find yourself with a successful home business. After a few more, you might find yourself sick of it and ready to retire, only to realise that you have no idea what to do with the business and all the customers who rely on you if you take that course of action. Here's what you need to do to get out of your business without destroying it, and come away with a good nest egg. Selling Your Business. A business has more value than you might expect. As a rule, businesses are bought and sold for somewhere between one and two years' worth of their profits. If you wonder why, consider that the person buying a business gets not only a proven business model, but also all the marketing materials and other intellectual property (trademarks, copyrights, patents), an existing customer base, and years of built-up goodwill. Home businesses, however, can be more problematic to sell than other businesses, for the simple reason that they do not come with business premises. You might have the best luck allowing one of your larger competitors to do a 'takeover' of your business, in which they are mostly paying for your name, branding and customers. This can be lucrative for them, as they get to both eliminate a competitor and expand their own business at the same time. You will need to put some effort in to make your business attractive to potential buyers -- do some analysis on what each element of the business is worth. Show that you have made lots of sales in the past and will make many more in the future. Above all else, buyers are looking at your balance sheet, and the business' potential for growth. They're in this because they want their future earnings to be more than the amount they pay, and if you can demonstrate that they could make that happen quickly then they'll have no reason not to buy. Getting the Right Price. Don't sell your business to the first person who offers, however good their offer might sound -- you need to get offers on the table from everyone you can think of who might be interested. You may even find that they're quite willing to have a meeting with you as a group, and get into a little bidding war. Alternatively, if you already have staff, you may wish to offer them the option to bid too, providing them with a finance agreement. Before you do anything like this, though, it's good to get your lawyer and your accountant to advise you on the best course of action. You will do better on the price of your business if you've planned your sale in advance, instead of waiting to the last minute. The people who get the best prices are the ones who take years to sell their business, and are always prepared to walk away from the negotiating table. Time to Skim. One thing you need to remember when you sell your business is that if there are any shareholders other than yourself, they need to receive their percentage of the business' final sale price. Depending on the terms of the agreement, you may have to buy their part of the business before you can sell it, or give them the option to buy your part before you offer it on the open market. On top of that, you will also have to pay tax on the sale of your business. Always consider how much an offer is going to be worth to you after tax, not before. Starting from a Powerful Position. Once you've sold your business, there's one thing left that you can do. With the lump sum you just got from the sale, you're in a great position to start a new business! If the sale didn't include your equipment, then it shouldn't be too hard to get started again -- and this time, you'll have a lot of money to invest. Not only that, but you've proven yourself to be good to lend to, so any finance you need should be far easier to obtain. Keep building businesses and selling them every few years, and you can quickly get hold of the resources to build something truly great. Good luck!

Studies show that doing exercises is one of the many snoring remedies; this is most factual to obese people since losing unwanted fats will most likely give them the good and undisturbed sleep they need. §р Avoidance of cigarette and alcoholic drinks is another parameter to a healthy lifestyle so your snoring problem will be remedied. Cigarette causes obstruction to the air passage which can make your breathing difficult, which later on increases the possibility to snore. Alcoholic drinks, on the other hand have the capability to loosen your muscles, including the muscles in your throat which heightens snoring. §р Do not ignore your need to have sufficient rest. Snoring is most common to people who have inadequate rest yet involved in rigorous activities. Make sure to sleep well. It does not have to be a complete eight-hour sleep, just make it a point that you wake up well-rested. In addition, it is recommended that you begin to be seriously creating your own sleeping pattern. Ask yourself can I sleep better with lights off or on? Is my sleep worthy if I sleep with music playing? You are more likely to achieve a non-snoring sleep environment by having your own sleeping pattern. Sleep is a necessity. Hence, we should eliminate any sleep obstruction such as snoring, for you to be able to get the sleep you ought to have. Start with a healthy lifestyle.

Four sure fire ways to keep your customers happy

How much value do you place on your customers? Let's face it...without customers you have no sales...no profit...no business. Yeah, they're the keyplayers in the marketing game. In other words, wise marketers keep their finger on the pulse of their clientelle. The know what makes them tick and how to keep them coming back time and time again. Here are a four ways you can keep your customer's happy and loyal. Make Customer Satisfaction # 1 Hey, forget about how many sales you make in a day, and look at how many customers you satisfied today! Every satisfied client means repeat sales. Yep, it might be a product that they purchase over and over again, or it may mean different products they pick up every time they walk through the doors. Heck, it might mean both repeat products and added impulse products as well. Happy customers talk to their friends, and friends trust what their friends have to say about a business. Yep, even though it's an opinion...they'll take it as the gospel and set a lot of stock in it. Keep your customers saying good things about your products and services...it'll pay off. Deliver...Don't Promise More Than You Can Handle No one likes to be let down. Yeah, that means your customers will be happier if you promise less, but deliver more. Think about this...happy customers tell 3 of their friends about you, but disappointed customers gripe to 11 friends about what you didn't do right. Yep, it pays to keep your word! What about those unhappy clients? Deal with them as quickly as possible and do what it takes to keep them happy. Yeah, you might lose a little profit today, but think of it like this...if you keep them on your side they'll come back again and again - and so will their friends. Keep an Element of Surprise Alive Have you ever gone shopping and at the counter discovered the item you purchased was on sale? Yeah, it feels great to save money you weren't expecting to save! Along with your advertised sales, slip in some unadvertised specials. Your customers will look forward to the unexpected savings they encounter at the cash register. Think about this...would you rather shop at the new store across town where the clerks are unfriendly and you're not sure of the quality of the product when you've already got a good thing going on somewhere else? We all have a zone of comfort and are creatures of habit. When your customers are in the habit of smiling every time they walk out of your door, they'll be less likely to experiment with an uncertain competitor. Tell Your Customers You Appreciate Their Business We all enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling that comes with being appreciated. Yep, a smile...a thank you...a pat on the back...they all leave us feeling great. How can you send your customers out of the store with the knowledge that they are valuable to you? Just say it...I appreciate your business! Say it with a special sale...by letting them in on a new product or service your are adding just for them...or simply with a smile and heartfelt thanks. Think about this...how do you feel when you know your opinion counts? Yeah, we all like to think people respect our thoughts and ideas. When your customers know you put a lot of stock in what they think of your business, they'll be more likely to talk it up to their friends and family. Reward them every time they share their opinion about your business. Set up a special referral reward program and watch the news travel. Invest in your customers...the dividends are great!

Hiring a mover watch those hidden costs

The impending move is getting closer, but that's ok, you're on top of everything. You've done your due diligence, researched various movers, received three estimates and have a good idea of your final moving costs. Now it's time to build all those extra costs into your budget. You will be shocked when you start building up your inventory of boxes and packing supplies. This is big business and companies are making a lot of money selling this stuff. Try to re-use whenever possible. I found our local liquor store and grocery store to be most helpful when I moved. Actual moving companies sell re-used boxes and packing materials at a discount as well. Start collecting early to build up your supply. Enquire as to the cost of purchasing last minute boxes in case you run out on moving day. It's quite costly to purchase these new directly from the moving company. Providing lunch and beverages for the movers is a gesture that is extremely appreciated. It also ensures they aren't running off to get lunch elsewhere and using up your valuable moving time. You may want to plan on a morning snack and pizza later on, with the occasional coffee run. You may consider tipping your movers, it's totally optional, some do, and some don't. If the movers are paid hourly, they may not have estimated enough time for the job and every extra hour gets added to your bill. Replacing damaged goods during packing or delivery can add to your budget. If you've purchased added insurance, the guidelines for making a claim are stringent, ensure you read the fine print. Generally your standard homeowner's insurance does not cover contents while they're in transit. Certain larger items may require special handling such as a piano, artwork, a billiard table or a vehicle, which translates into more dollars. How are you getting to your final destination? Don't forget to include your own traveling costs, hotel, meals, and transportation. If you are shipping your vehicle to the new home, those costs should be added in as well. Generally movers do a pretty good job of estimating the final weight of a shipment, but it's never exact and rarely do they estimate lower than the final tally. Be prepared to owe more than planned for the final cost per pound. If you will be requiring storage for your contents, make certain you understand not only the cost of storage, but the cancellation and late fees that may also apply. One ray of sunshine that may be available to you, if your move is job related and a specified distance closer to your new job, the expenses could result in a tidy deduction. Research your tax laws and see if this applies to you.

Adventure honeymoon ideas

Are you looking for a honeymoon that's a little different from the typical beachside vacation? You don't sit around at home, why should you do so on your honeymoon? Consider a diving trip to the Caribbean or perhaps a hiking trip to the Alps. Below are a few of my favorite choices for an adventure honeymoon: 1.Ecotourism in Costa Rica – Costa Rica, located in the heart of Central America, is rich with natural wonders. There are miles of uncrowded beach on both the Caribbean and the Pacific coasts, the Monteverde Cloud Forest in the central highlands, and the cosmopolitan capital of San Jose. The country is ideal for adventure seekers. You can swing through the tree-top canopy in the rain forest, windsurf on Lake Arenel – some of the best windsurfing in the world, enjoy fishing for swordfish and tuna, and hike the miles and miles of national park land. Costa Rica also specializes in self-sustaining resorts, a big plus for ecologically sensitive honeymooners. 2.Diving in Grand Cayman – The Cayman Islands, just east of Cuba, offers some of the best diving in the world. Grand Cayman, the largest of the three Cayman Islands, boasts dozens of dive sites as well as the pristine seven-mile beach and Stingray City, a unique stingray refuge where visitors can swim with 30 to 50 relatively tame stingrays. Accommodations on the island tend towards low-rise, mostly beachfront, condominiums. Nothing is too far away on this 22-mile long island. 3.Bicycling through Belize – Belize, on the Caribbean coast, offers quiet hillside retreats, stunning Mayan ruins, and undiscovered beaches. You can canoe into remote Barton Cove, an ancient Mayan burial site; stay in Francis Ford Coppola's exclusive jungle hideaway; and peddle alongside waterfalls, beaches, and caves. It's like being in your own Indiana Jones movie. 4.Heli-climbing in the Rockies – Experience the Canadian Rockies like few others have. A helicopter whisks you up to alpine meadows and inclines for a day or a half-day of hiking – or you can choose one spot in the morning and another in the afternoon. This trip is not roughing it, however. When you're not exploring Canada's beautiful mountain slopes, you'll be staying at one of the legendary Canadian Pacific lodges, noted for their elegant rooms, spectacular views, and gracious service. 5.Hiking in the Alps – Join a small group of like-minded adventurers for a trek through the foothills of the Swiss Alps. A typical week-long tour takes you through quaint mountain villages, to secluded mountain meadows, and up steep mountain passes. The average day's travel is about ten miles and in the evening you'll stay and dine in historic and friendly alpine inns. 6.Camping in Yosemite – The 1189-square mile Yosemite National Park offers over 400 campsites, ranging from primitive to fully-equipped. Yosemite is one of the National Park System's most dramatic, and ranges in elevation from 2000 to over 13,000 feet. Visitors can enjoy the park's over 7000 species of plant life and over 250 varieties of animals. Activities include climbing, hiking the over 800 miles of trails, rafting, and horseback-riding

Discover motiva card rewards customers for good credit management

The newly launched Discover Motiva credit card is designed to reward customers for good financial management. Through its pay-on-time bonus and cash back features, Motiva offers cardholders two ways to earn money. With the Discover Motiva card, consumers do not have to be high spenders to be rewarded. Pay-on-time Bonus Those who hold a Discover Motiva Card will receive bonuses for making on-time payments. An on-time payment refers to paying at least the minimum payment due on or before the due date. When customers meet this requirement for six consecutive months, they will receive the following month’s interest back as a pay-on-time bonus. Over the course of twelve months, cardholders will have the opportunity to receive two bonuses. This is equivalent to having two interest-free months. In this way, Discover rewards balance-carrying customers who make their payments on a timely basis. Cash Back In addition to the pay-on-time bonus, the Discover Motiva Card offers a cash back rewards program. Cardholders will have the opportunity to earn up to 1% cash back on all purchases. Customers can choose from a variety of redemption options for their rewards. They can even have the cash applied directly to their monthly statement, providing them with a way to pay down their balances quickly. Discover offers cardmembers the chance to increase, and even double, their rewards by redeeming the cash back bonus for gift cards from over 70 brand-name partners. Discover Motiva Card gives customers other opportunities to earn even more cash back. Cardmembers will receive 5-20% cash back when they make purchases through Discover Card’s online shopping site, which includes online retailers such as Target. and Barnes&Noble. Additional Features The Discover Motiva Card offers additional features to help facilitate on-time payments for customers. Cardholders are able to choose the due date they wish to use for making payments. This allows them to set up a payment schedule that best fits their financial needs. Customers also have the chance to sign up for free email reminders. These messages include reminders for upcoming due dates and other important notices. This feature helps customers remember to make their payments and avoid costly fees. Discover allows cardholders to make payments online or by phone. They can do this, even on the due date, with no extra charge. This provides customers with more opportunities to receive the pay-on-time bonus. In addition to rewarding customers for paying on time and offering cash back on purchases, the Discover Motiva card has no annual fee. The card includes a 3.9% introductory rate on purchases. It also offers a 3.9% APR on balance transfers until 2010. The regular APR for the Discover Motiva Card is relatively low for those with good credit. For years, Discover has developed programs to reward its cardholders. Today, with over 50 million cardmembers, Discover now offers a new award for those who make payments on time. This came in response to customers who felt the rewards programs by some credit card companies only benefited high spenders. With Discover Motiva Card, customers do not have to make large purchases to receive rewards. This card is designed for those with good credit who want to be rewarded for careful financial management.

The only true self improvement

When we browse the Web, we can notice that almost every directory has a category that deals with self-improvement. This subject has become very popular. Every human being that at least possesses a little bit of conscience tries to improve herself or is at least interested at a thought of such a striving. The higher the moral level of a man, the stronger is his or her desire to improve. Those people who are convenient but do not feel very good about themselves if they miss the feeling that they work on their own improvement, will at least read articles and books how to improve themselves, but as a matter of fact, their reading will be the only one thing that they will really do. On the other hand, there are also people who really want to improve themselves and actively try to follow any well-meant piece of advice how to become better. However, the problem is that hardly any out of all the available advices which are supposed to show you the way how you can improve yourself is really effective and safe. To be frank, I have to say that the most effective way how to improve is even very uncomfortable. To understand my point of view, you should know that I believe in reincarnation, in harmony in all Nature and in the balance of all the opposites. I also believe that all people together are one whole and because everything is related to any other thing, in the same way the destiny of each one of us is related with the destiny of all other people. As opposites reign to us all and balance always tries to be restored, we should avoid any extreme in our life to prevent the opposite extreme in the life of other people. If we are too rich, others will have to be too poor. If we are too healthy, others will have to be too ill. If we are too happy, others will have to be too unhappy. If we are too good, others will have to be too bad. Because we are one whole, then to improve this whole, one must try to improve both himself and all the other at once. To improve all mankind - to help all mankind, it means to help the most suffering ones first of all. But how can they be helped? Who is ill and cannot be healed, let him enter new body in the next life of his or her soul by euthanasia, who has suffered a serious accident let him be helped by all other people, who is too poor and does not have enough money to life, let him be gifted by the rich. Remember that if you helped any other man, you helped yourself because if there will be no excessive suffering on the world, neither you soul will have to excessively suffer, whether it will be in it's present or future life. So any help to any other man in fact is a help to yourself. True self-improvement consists in the restriction of one's own happiness for the purpose of helping all the other people by sharing any above-average possession with them. Everybody should be averagely rich and averagely happy. Only then he will neither suffer too much nor he will cause any occurence of too much suffering people. Let everybody live in a medium happiness with medium possession and let him have the same price like that of all other people. Now ask yourself: Are you the rich who will not support the poor with your money? Do you enjoy a good state of health and at the same time do not feel with those who suffer most and you are not willing to bear a part of their big pain on your own shoulders? If it is so, then please stop reading articles and books about self improvement since you will never improve yourself in the proper way. For the only self-improvement is to sacrifice a part of what you've got to help the other. There is no other self-improvement.

What kind of sellers are real estate investors looking for

Copyright 2006 National Real Estate Network LLC You are looking for sellers whose #1 objective is to sell their property. You are looking for motivated sellers (A DON’T WANTER). If you are dealing with any one else, you are going down the wrong road. It would be a good to get a real estate license. Even when you are dealing with someone who is not a motivated seller and who’s #1 objective is not to get rid of the property, a real estate license can earn you money by listing the property for the person, or referring them to someone else that would be better as a listing real estate agent for the property. When I call on someone who wants to sell their property, I have found they know the value and their options. We review what the after repaired value is with them and what we would offer. We also advise them as to their options regarding getting pre-qualified by a mortgage company, or any other options that might be the best solution for them. If they are motivated sellers whose #1 objective is to get rid of the property, then they will look to work out a sale with you. I feel it is important to let them know all their options such as to list property, take investor offer, or refinance property. If you present to them what is you see as their possible solutions it will make a difference for them regarding saving the property through refinance, or you might get the listing or referral fee from another realtor that gets the property sold for the owner. The bottom line is you served them and in doing that, you get taken care of also. Some examples of motivated sellers are: a. Divorce—The couple has separated. They now have doubled their individual overhead. They have two house payments now. The home they shared required two incomes. The marital house is headed for foreclosure b. Probated estates - the attorney in charge will want to liquidate the estate as quickly as possible c. Tired landlords—people who jump into this business and can't handle property management. d. Loss of job e. Move out of state - double house payments f. Partnership split The business of finding motivated sellers is good one. g. Foreclosures h. Tax Forecloures In this business, key is to stay focused on making sure you have motivated seller. Said anyother way is that the person #1 objective is to get rid of their property. Good hunting for Motivated sellers!

Best small business idea it s all about you

Getting More Focused -- It’s All About You Jeanna Pool from Catalyst Creative writes a great ezine on marketing each month. In January she shared 5 Great Marketing Tips for 2006. Number 1 was “Stop Focusing on You”. She declares 2006 the year of the client and exhorts you to focus totally on your clients and their needs. I think she’s right on. And I think she’s completely wrong. Why right and wrong? Because if you’ve been in business for awhile and have great products and great services and aren’t getting the results you want, you may be too focused on your clients and not focused enough on yourself. Last week, I encouraged your to revisit your vision of your business and ask yourself why you started your business in the first place. Now I want you to focus even more on what you want. What exactly do you want out of your business? Do you want more money? If so, how much? Write down a number. Do you want more flexible hours? If so, write out exactly the schedule you’d like. Do you want to change the world? If so, write out specifically how that would look. Why all this focus on you? Because if you aren’t absolutely clear on what you want, how are you going to know if you are successful? How are you going help your clients if you aren’t taking care of yourself as well. Maybe you need to be making $150,000 a year to provide your family with the life that you wanted. You want to send your kids to college. You want to retire while you are still in active and in good health. Or maybe you want to just make an extra $20,000 a year working part-time while you take care of your children until they are in school. Or perhaps your goal is to make a million dollars a year and live a really incredible life. Defining this is very important. Why? Because what you want will shape your business. It will determine who your customers are and how you will help them. If you want $5,000,000 in sales, your products and methods are going to be a whole lot different than if you want $50,000 in sales. If you want to work only afternoons, that is going to shape your business as well. If you want to sell your business and retire in five years, that’s going to affect your decisions as well. So right now, get out a paper and pen and get ready to write. Did you get your pen and paper out? Answer the question, “What do I want out of my business?” Write in as much detail exactly what you want your business to give you. Be as specific as possible. Write as much as you can. Think income, lifestyle, schedule, partners, travel, location, employees. What exactly do you want? Throughout the week, add to this and revise itpare where you are right now to what you really want. How large is the gap? Next week, I’ll help you create a plan to narrow the gap with: Why Business Plans Don’t Work -- How to Create an Effective Action Plan

Bad beat

If you aren’t familiar with bad beat jackpots, let me explain. In most brick and mortar casinos there is a progressive jackpot that builds over time, called the bad beat jackpot. Poker rooms usually take out a dollar or two out of every raked pot and put it into? the bad beat jackpot. The rules for hitting the jackpot are different in each casino. At some casinos you only need Aces full of Jacks or better beaten, while some casinos offer even harder beats such as a four of a kind beaten. In most card rooms, you must also be playing at a limit table. No limit games generally don’t qualify, as the jackpot would be hit much more frequently with players constantly all in and seeing every card the board has to offer. When a bad beat happens and is verified, everyone gets paid. The structure for a bad beat jackpot payout also varies from casino to casino. It is common to see the losing hand receive 40% of the jackpot, the winning hand receive 25% of the jackpot, the rest of the table split 15% of the jackpot, and the rest of the poker room split the remaining 20%. As you can see, when someone hits a jackpot, there is plenty of room for everyone to celebrate. In the last four years I’ve played countless hours of poker in casinos in Missouri, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, and Oklahoma and had never experienced a bad beat jackpot until last night. I headed up to Cherokee Casino, in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, with a buddy of mine, to get a few hours of play in. While waiting for our seats to open, we sat down in fairly loose $4/$8 limit game. In this poker room, $4/$8 limit is the lowest limit game offered, so it feels much like playing $2/$4 and $3/$6, where having 7 callers pre-flop on a raised hand is common and where Aces hardly stand a chance. We had only been playing for about 30 minutes when it all went down. I was sitting in seat 9, with a loose player sitting to my right, in seat 8. This player was 23 years old and was also a dealer at the casino. (In the larger casinos, usually if you are a dealer you are not allowed to play in games in your own card room, but this isn’t a rule at Cherokee Casino.) The player in seat 8 was holding JJ and the player in seat 5 was holding QQ. The majority of this hand was heads up and the final board was: J J Q Q 4 Both players were trying to slow play their hands so the betting didn’t get very high until the river, where the player with JJ 3 betted the pot and was all-in for his last few dollars. Our table was only half paying attention because this pot didn’t seem very exciting. The player in seat 8, holding the JJ, turned up his jacks to show his quads and said, “Can you beat this!” with a smirk on his face. The table woke up a little because a player was showing four Jacks. The player in seat 5 smiled big and said, “Sure can!” and turned over his quad Queens. Only about three players at the table really knew what this meant; it was bad beat jackpot time. After about a few seconds of explaining the situation, everyone at the table, except for the two first time players, knew what was happening and the table erupted in cheers. Players from around the poker room were surrounding our table trying to see what had happened. After all, usually players don’t start cheering and jumping around at a $4/$8 limit table. The bad beat jackpot was up to a little over $80,000. After about an hour of camera checking, card checking, paper work, and verification, the bad beat was confirmed with 4 Jacks losing to 4 Queens. The player next to me, with the 4 Jacks, won $32,000. The player across from me, with the 4 Queens, won $20,000. The other 7 players, including my friend and me, split $12,000, which ended up being about $1720 apiece. The rest of the poker room players ended up getting around $130 a head. The two first-time players at our table had no idea what was going on and why they were being handed $1700 in cash. We made sure to tell them poker wasn’t always this easy. After playing for a few more hours and never leaving our $4/$8 seats, it was time to head home. Not a bad night, at the $4/$8 tables. Internet Black Jack Betting and Casino @ WagerWeb

Dealing with diabetes to enjoy healthy aging

Dealing with Diabetes to Enjoy Healthy Aging Learning to deal with diabetes is never easy. It is bad enough we have to live in a greed-based world filled with confusion, violence, media junk, and so on. Still, those with diabetes can live healthy providing they adhere to diet, medications and exercise. Diabetes is a serious condition. The disease is the mother of all disease in the world and it is a killer. What is diabetes? Diabetes is a disease that you can get if you do not eat right or take care of your body. Genetics play a part in diabetes as well. In fact, hereditary is a hard cause of the problem. The disease can cause blindness. The disease can lead to amputation of legs, or feet. Diabetes is a disease that when your body does not produce enough insulin to break down sugar in the bloodstream. Diabetes includes two types, yet various levels are considered. Diabetes includes Diabetes Insipidus and Mellitus. The first diabetes is where your body is incapable of producing enough insulin to do what its supposed to do. This type of diabetes is treatable. You will need medications, exercise and strict diet to maintain your health. Diabetes Mellitus has five types. Each type results from insulin interruptions whereas the system is disrupted. The disruption causes chaos within the body’s ability to function. The body cannot act naturally and it takes insulin shots to treat this condition depending on the type. How would I know that I have this disease called diabetes? If you go to your doctors on a regular basis, your doctor will monitor your health. If you have family history of diabetes, let your doctor know so he/she can conduct random testing. A glucose test is necessary to find diabetes. Blood lab tests are useful also to spot diabetes. What you should watch for? Drinking but not filling your thirst quench. If you feel fatigue often and don’t know, then you should be tested. Diabetes, depending on the type makes a person feels weak, endure pain, lose weight, gain weight, etc. The disease is so confusing to the bodily functions that it doesn’t know the direction to head. What can I do to help me not to get this disease? No one has control over disease but you. If you adhere to regular checkups, the doctor can spot the disease at an early stage, which the disease then can be managed. You need to eat right and do excises daily to help maintain your weight, since diabetes takes delight in feeding the disease to the point of death. What happens to those with diabetes? Unfortunately, the disease is not partial. The disease targets young and old alike. Once the disease develops it puts the person at risk of blindness. Some people lose their legs or other limbs resulting from diabetes. Most people with diabetes are at risk of kidney failure. If you already have diabetes then listen to your doctor and follow all instructions. One of the top recommendations to diabetes patients is to consume much fluids. Your body is losing fluids as diabetes drains your bodily organs of its natural elements. You will also need to avoid saturated fat foods and basic sugars. In addition, your doctor will need to test you regularly to control your illness. You want to take care when diabetes is present since it can lead to meningitis, headaches, tachycardia, dehydration, muscle weakness, pain, and so on. In addition, you may endure blurred vision, sexual dysfunctions, slow healing, and so on. Again, diabetes is a killer; so take care of your health.

Impressing your customers is easy with 3 guaranteed tactics

Customer satisfaction isn't one single act, but a group of actions that work together to make their experience a pleasant and satisfying experience. You've probably eaten at a restaurant where the food was wonderful, but the service slow and unprofessional. Somebody was doing a good job, but your overall experience wasn't up to par. There are three areas of service that work together to impress your customers. Provide good service in these three areas, and they'll be back... time and time again. 1. Instant Response Let's face the facts... people just don't like to wait. When they walk out the door, they want to have the product at their fingertips. Hey, they may have taken weeks to decide on the purchase, but once the decision has been made, they want it NOW. The best way to make customers happy is to make the product available at the point of sale, but not all businesses are able to do that. Internet marketers obviously cannot provide immediate service, but can be sure to keep delivery time to an absolute minimum. 2. Make Buying Simple Keep the buying process as simple as possible. Customers are just like you, they hate paperwork. To an online customer, clicking on 20 different screens translates as paperwork. It's annoying, time consuming, and a turn off. Use the "easy as 1, 2, 3" idea as a selling point in your advertising campaign. Busy and tired customers take notice, and you'll see results! 3. Give Customers Personal Attention Good listeners are hard to come buy. The world is full of people trying to sell us something, or trying to persuade us to their viewpoint. You want to make an impact? Learn to listen to your customers. Make it easy to ask questions. Yeah, yeah, I know. That's time consuming and you don't have time to spare. But listen, you'll find that a lot of questions are repeated over and over again. Create a frequently asked question form, and you'll be able to answer a lot of consumer questions without sacrificing as much of your time.

Money is emotional

Pathfinder operates on 10 principles originating from books “Money Mastery” by Alan Williams and Peter Jeppson and “The Richest man of Babylon” by George Clason as well as information I’ve learned over the years. Principle No. 1: money is emotional. When we make and spend money, it’s an emotional event. When we get a raise, we celebrate. When we get laid off, our routine and activities are often derailed because of it. Most of our spending patterns are emotional. For example, we don’t plan ahead of time to buy a car. Daily, we’re barraged with ads and commercials that tug at our emotions. Even if you deserve the new item and you’ve been working hard, you still bought the item emotionally. The point: If we can acknowledge money is emotional, we can then plan and master its power over us. We’ll never change the fact that money is emotional, but we can change our spending behavior. Student testimonials say tracking their spending helps them realize how much they actually spend. Tips from those who have curbed their spending are helpful: >Paying with cash helps some people spend less (compared to paying with credit cards or by check) >Shop with a plan or list and stick to it > Get an accountability partner, someone who you can share what you purchased during the week. >Instead of ordering two full meals when they go out to dinner with someone (taking home leftovers), split a meal and order an appetizer or dessert instead.

What to say to is this a pyramid scheme

On a call yesterday following the pyramid post, people wanted to know what to say if, they're presenting the business or product, someone pops the question, "Is this a pyramid?" Before you brainstorm over your winning comeback, how about a quick check to see whether 1) your company acts like one or not, or 2) if you are acting like one (without realizing it, of course)? Here's the question we discussed: 1. Is your business all about recruiting? If so, you are acting like a pyramid, according to Rushkoff's book, Coercion: "a pyramid scheme is...[where] the need to subscribe newcomers outweighs whatever benefits the products or system has to offer. Many MLMs sell distributorships more than cosmetics [name your product or service - KK]." Yes of course you want to recruit reps - but if that's all you do, you are in the pyramid zone, because you give the impression that the product and customers don't matter, except to sell distributorships. Everyone quickly re-evaluated what they were doing to be sure they weren't coming across like that. All could see how a fixation on doing 1. above might give someone else the impression that "Yep, there goes one of those pyramid schemers." After a quick review of 9 different company pay plans (of distributors on the phone) it became clear - it's true what the recruiters say: "There's no money in customers. All the money's in the recruiting." Company owners decide where to put the money they pay their reps. Say a network marketing company pays out to the field, 50% of what it takes in. They have complete disgression on how to divide that up - between paying for recruiting and amassing customers (for those companies that make the recruiter/customer distinction - and some don't.) So, how much were companies paying for getting customers (who were not also distributors)? On product orders ranging from $85-120, some people reported getting paid from 0 - 7%. In one company, they got nothing on those customer orders if they hadn't reached a certain position in the company based on their sales; and for other companies, the reps reported getting 5 or 6% for orders of $100. (A few paid more. List to be posted soon.) Five bucks for a hundred dollar customer order? There are much easier ways to make money than that! However, for recruiting, we got much higher returns. With sign-up bonuses and fast start bonuses of $50-350 or more, for orders ranging from $300-1000. Who else wouldn't rather make $50 than $5 for making one sale? Big money in selling distributorships (which may include products). Versus getting just customers. So yes, companies whose pay plans are weighted so much to recruiting are acting like a pyramid. Worse, they make their reps look like it too, since they want to get the most return they can for their time, and would rather make $50 than $5. Who wouldn't? Well, as they say, if it quacks like a.... Oh. What to say to that question, "Is this a pyramid" (or 'one of those things')? One option (we discussed several): Let me tell you what we do, and you can call it whatever you want ok? PAUSE We market products directly to consumers, people like you and me, and we also find people who want to do that with us. You think you could do that if I showed you what to do? (That's from the Truth book.) And yes, there are other options...for another post...send in yours that have helped. (Use 'Comments' below).

A kenya safari holiday in amboseli national park

Your Kenya Safari Holiday could well start at Amboseli, not only because Amboseli National Park is only an hour by air from Nairobi, but also because the wildlife viewing is top class all the year round, and the views of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background are truly spectacular. As a park Amboseli is comparatively small, being less than 400 sq km, but it does boast over 50 of the lrger species of mammal, and over 400 species of birds. It is also the home of the Maasai people, tall proud and brave, and nomadic, so there is evidence of their abandoned villages because they move wherever, and whenver the cattle grazing is used up. The cattle's damage to the grassland, added to the sheer numbers of animals along with the popularity of Amboseli, the huge number of tourists, their four wheel drive vehicle damage, has meant a restriction in where vehicles can go. Having said all of that Amboseli is a great place to start your Kenya Safari Holiday because of the numbers of game that you can view, and the sheer beauty of seeing the game on your Kenya Safari Holiday against the backdrop of the snow covered Mt. Kilimanjaro. The centre area of Amboseli national park is basically a dried up lake, and swamps and springs fed by the melted snow, from underground rivers originating on Kilimanjaro give the animals permanent sources of water even during the periods of drought. The best place to view game on your Kenya safari holiday is around the swamps, and there is a great place to go called Observation Hill. The big question of course is what game will you see on your Kenya Safari Holiday to Amboseli? The list will incude baboon, vervetmonkey, lion, cheetah, elephat, zebra, hippo, black rhino, oryx, wildebest, gerenuk, impala, and gazelle. Amongst the camps you need to check out for your Kenya safari Holiday in Amboseli includes Amboseli Serena Lodge, Ol Tukai Lodge, Amboseli Sopa Lodge, Tortllis Camp, and just north of Amboseli is Porini Camp.

Limitations of pre paid legal services 402

Limitations of Pre-Paid Legal Services Pre-paid legal plans are promoted under the promise of cheap legal coverage, an attractive alternative to the high fees charged by regular attorneys and law practices. But under the gloss of accessible legal services for the general public, lie a number of limitations. First, there is a limit on the scope of the legal services provided. Most of what is provided on an unlimited-basis is phone based: calls to your attorney for advice and consultation on legal matters, or phone calls made on your behalf to third parties. Other benefits bundled in the plan are limited: regular visits to your attorney’s office is restricted to a dozen or so hours per month, the wills you want drafted or sample contracts reviewed will be carried out on two or three copies per year. More complex legal matters involving more time and effort on the part of your attorney are not provided outright. If you need representation in a court for a lawsuit on the recovery of damages, or a complex lease contract reviewed and approved, then you have to pay regular lawyer fees. Some discounts of up to 25% apply, but you could get the same discounts if not better by the simple virtue of simple negotiations and clever comparison shopping. Second is the restriction on your choice of attorney and the quality of legal work provided. Although you are free to choose your own attorney, client-lawyer relationship and the building of rapport are harder to come by in this scheme. Pre-paid legal plans are fraught with the “rookie” syndrome: the providers usually resort to employing newly-licensed or trainee attorneys in a cost-cutting exercise. Someone who does mostly wills, trusts and sample contracts is probably not a good fit for a more complex legal issue like the custody of children. In this day of age of increasing specialisation, it is better to ask someone with specialised knowledge and years of experience then it is to rely on a novice with a limited professional track-record. If you go down the traditional way, then there is restricted “pool of attorneys” you can choose from. Your research will be easier and a lot more comprehensive. You can set up interviews with lawyers, ask for referrals from friends, previous customers or check your local bar association. You are more likely to get a top-notch lawyer with who to build rapport get competent advice and trust the judgement. (Word count: 402) PPPPPP

Fast and furious go karts how to buy one cheap

Go karts can make your heart pump like almost nothing else. If you’re hooked on the thrill of go karting and you are dying to purchase a sleek new go kart there are a few tricks you need to learn. With a little patience go karts can be bought for as much as 50% off of the regular retail price. They are incredibly fun, and they've become extremely popular these days. You can find go karts at just about every family fun center or amusement park. Racing go karts or off road gokarts are just plain fun. But you already know how exciting go karts are so let’s get to the nuts and bolts of how to purchase a go kart at rock bottom discount prices. Finding cheap go karts is a lot easier than you may think, you just have to wait a little longer before you buy. But don’t worry, not too long. It’s really a simple tactic that I call price shopping. Price comparisons are certainly something you have already heard about, but if you do it right you can find some great discounts. In the olden days you had to call up different stores or actually go visit them to get some price comparisons for racing or off road gokarts. But today we have the internet which makes it a whole lot easier. It still takes a little work and some patience, but the savings can be well worth the wait. First, go to Google and type ‘go karts,’ ‘go kart,’ ‘go kart sale’ or ‘discount go karts’ into the search box. You may also want to try 'go carts,' 'go cart,' 'gocarts,' 'gocart,' ‘gokarts’ or ‘gokart’ spelled differently or enter some different gokarting words that may be appropriate. This will yield an unbelievable amount of online dealers. Check out about 10 or 20 of them and make a note of the different models and prices that they offer. Also, you’ll notice on the right side of the Google search web pages there are many sponsored adspanies pay a lot of money to advertise there. Many of these sites have great prices and they should be checked out too. Second, do the same thing Yahoo. Find a few go kart sites that offer the types of go karts that you are searching for and make a note of the models and their prices. Once again, look at the sponsored ads on the page and visit some of them too. Keep track of the cheapest prices you can find. Third, visit Froogle. Froogle is an offshoot of Google. It is a giant shopping site where you can find lots of different models. Search for ‘gokart’ and ‘gokarts’ just as you did at Google and Yahoo, making sure to write down the cheap discount prices you find for the go kart models you are most interested in. Fourth, go to ebay and do another similar search. Look at the different auctions and notice the prices that go karts are actually selling for. This is one of the best ways to determine a selling price. You may have to keep track of a few auctions for a few days, but it will give you a good idea of the value for different types of go karts. Do you get the idea? All you’re doing is spending a little time locating all of the best prices you can find online. Then you’re keeping track of these prices so that you can compare them. Now here’s the hard part. Wait a week or two and then do it all over again. I know that waiting is hard, but if you try to avoid an impulse buy you can usually find lower prices. After a couple of weeks you will have determined which go kart dealers offer the best prices. Saving up to 50% on the price of a great go kart is worth waiting a couple of weeks for. Once you’ve done your homework you just might be rewarded with a wonderfully cheap gokart. And once the work is over, it’s fun time.

Grill burner comparison cross sections

All stainless steel burners are not created equal. When comparing burner systems, there are a few key points to look for. Most manufacturers use stainless steel sheet metal to make their burner systems. The downside of sheet metal burners is that they are prone to a process called burn-through. The manufacturer's warranty covers sheet metal burners against rust-through, but does not cover against burn through. To combat burn through, select manufacturers use CAST stainless steel burners. The warranty on these burners does cover burn-through as well as rust-through, twisting, warping and any other problems. Compared side by side it is plain to see by our photos at Gas Grills Now, that where a sheet metal burner is not as thick as a U. S. quarter, a cast stainless steel burner is a full ј INCH thick. Along with being thicker, note the placement of the burner ports on the side of the burner. On the sheet metal burners, the ports are exposed to grease drippings, and food particles, which can clog the ports and speed up the burn-through process. The cast burner is designed with a protective ridge, so that drippings cannot contact the ports. There are several choices offered to the consumer: Cast stainless steel, Tube stainless steel, Sheet stainless steel, porcelain, cast iron and chrome burners. * Stainless Steel: Sheet Metal burners are the least expensive. They are mainly used on grills under $800. A tube burner is better than sheet metal, but is still very thin compared to cast. The tube burner is a great place for high end grill manufactures to cut costs. They are not even as thick as a quarter. As far as I know, all tube burners do not cover burn through. Cast Stainless Steel is the best. Look at the burner pictures and you will see that the cast is 1/4 inch thick. Warranty covers burn through! * Cast Iron: Cast-iron conducts heat better which makes it the preferred cooking surface for many cooks. To protect against the natural rusting process, cast-iron cooking grids have a porcelain finish which requires special maintenance. * Porcelain: Porcelain enamel is essentially a highly durable glass which, with coloring oxides and other inorganic materials, is fused to metal at extremely high temperatures. Most grids are made of steel rods; some are coated with porcelain to make them rust resistant and easier to clean. * Chrome: Chromium is a silver-gray, lustrous, brittle, hard metal that can be highly polished. It does Not tarnish in air, but burns when heated, forming the green chromic oxide. It is used in plating other metals because of its hardness and non-tarnishing properties. In alloys with other metals it contributes hardness, strength, and heat resistance. This is quicker to burn through. It takes about 1 to 2 years.

Burglar alarm system retail

Purchase Your Burglar Alarm System from the Retailers Driving past exclusive villages and subdivisions, you can always see burglar alarms in the homes of rich people, in its early days, burglar alarm systems were considerably expensive and could only be afforded by this palatial homes. But today, it has become affordable and you will be able to see it even in the common houses. People are now aware of the burglar alarm system’s advantages and more and more of them tend to invest on it. These alarms, be it wireless or wired gives off an alarm whenever a burglar attempts to get into the house. Burglar alarms can be classified into types, the open and close circuit: The system of open circuit sounds an alarm when the circuit shuts. The circuit is instantly completed whenever the door or window opened, and then the alarm is set off. The close circuit on the other hand, functions ironically. The circuit is completely broken when the door or window has been opened, sounding the alarm. Motion sensors are another sophisticated option. Through this, any kind of movement that occurs can be detected in a definite radius from the sensors. The moment it has detected any movement, it will immediately transmit a signal directly to the control panel, this serves as the brain of the system that analyzes the movement, and measures if it can be considered to be suspicious. Now, if the control panel processed that the movements are suspicious, it will respond to the manner of your set up. Then, it will directly set off the alarm or will call for the authorities needed. You can also adjust the motion sensors. The motion it perceives can be adjusted, for instance, you have a pet in the house that usually roams around or there is an activity that is commonly occurring inside, these will not indicate that there is a burglary. Today, motion sensors becomes more usual as alarms for protection and security, so purchase one for your home, the thought alone that you have a credible security will give you peace of mind in night or when there is no one left at home. But it will be better if you are planning to set up a burglar alarm that you just don’t purchase motion sensors; you also include magnetic switches. As the motion sensors monitor the large rooms, the magnetic switch will guard the doors and windows. The combination of these two will result to greater security in your home. Investing in a burglary system is always a smart move. As what have been mentioned earlier, the burglar alarm system nowadays will not be that heavy in your purse. Burglar alarm system are already proliferating in the market, you can purchase it even in stores in your area. There are already a number of retailers of burglar alarms that you don’t need to worry where to purchase it including the amount that it will cost you. These retailers can be found in department stores or in online shops; you can also find them in the strip malls or retail parks. Through these retailers the burglar alarm system becomes more accessible and is more exposed to potential buyers. Likewise, don’t worry about their pricing. These retailers only employ the cost-plus pricing wherein they only add a small price to gain their profit. The other systems for their pricing are the suggested retail price and the recommended retail price; these systems do not require a heavy amount on the part of the consumers. Through these retailers you will also know the other types of burglar alarms that you would want to place in your house.

Air purifiers and filters guide

Have you ever wondered what is floating through the air in your home? Just because you can't see something doesn't mea n it isn't there. Millions of particles, pollutants, gases, bacteria, and allergens are roaming your house with no way to get out making the air inside your home up to 100 times dirtier than outside air. Sure, opening a window to let in fresh air may get that stale smell out, but it is only an open door to invite more particles inside your home. This contaminated air circulates through your home and either settles on flat surfaces in the form of dust or is breathed in by you and your family. Fortunately, your house does not have to fall victim to these airborne pests. Air purifiers are more common and affordable today than ever before. If you do not have an air purifier, knowing the different types of air filtration devices will help you before you buy your own. 1. HEPA filters: Short for "High Efficiency Particulate Air filters", these devices use a cloth-like filter which can trap more than 99.97% of particles in your house. The filter lasts a couple of years depending on the condition of the air and can actually trap more pollutants than other filters. The downside is the HEPA filter is noisier than its competitors and does not eliminate gases or odors 2. Ionic Filters: Ionic filters purify the air by sending our ions which oppositely charge the particles so they stick together and collect on magnetic plates inside the filter (much like how your hair sticks to a balloon after it has been rubbed on your head). These devices are often a favorite among customers because of how silent they are. They are even effective enough to clean viruses, gases, allergens and bacteria out of your household air. 3. Carbon air filters: These devices are, by far, the most effective odor removers on the market. They work though a system of highly absorbent pores which trap molecules by forming a strong chemical bond. They don't, however, trap any airborne allergens or germs. 4. Ultra-Violet Light filter: Ultra violet light haven been proven to sterilize micro-organisms if they are exposed to the right amount of light for a certain length of time. Alone, there is some doubt to the effectiveness of these filters because micro-organisms may not be exposed to the light long enough while they are passing though the air. In order for ultra violet work to be successful, HEPA is used to capture the air long enough to be sterilized by the light. While ultra violet kills microorganisms, HEPA can rid your house of allergens. 5. Hydroxyl Radical filter: Hydroxyl radicals occur naturally in the earth's atmosphere and are powerful cleansing agents. They are, in fact the most powerful method of sanitizing mold and other harmful bacteria. These five types of filters are the most popular and dependable on the market. Now that you have a firm understanding of how these filters work and what exactly they clean out of household air, do your homework. There are many great filter providers online which can lead you to the best filter for your budget.
