Four sure fire ways to keep your customers happy

How much value do you place on your customers? Let's face it...without customers you have no sales...no profit...no business. Yeah, they're the keyplayers in the marketing game. In other words, wise marketers keep their finger on the pulse of their clientelle. The know what makes them tick and how to keep them coming back time and time again. Here are a four ways you can keep your customer's happy and loyal. Make Customer Satisfaction # 1 Hey, forget about how many sales you make in a day, and look at how many customers you satisfied today! Every satisfied client means repeat sales. Yep, it might be a product that they purchase over and over again, or it may mean different products they pick up every time they walk through the doors. Heck, it might mean both repeat products and added impulse products as well. Happy customers talk to their friends, and friends trust what their friends have to say about a business. Yep, even though it's an opinion...they'll take it as the gospel and set a lot of stock in it. Keep your customers saying good things about your products and services...it'll pay off. Deliver...Don't Promise More Than You Can Handle No one likes to be let down. Yeah, that means your customers will be happier if you promise less, but deliver more. Think about this...happy customers tell 3 of their friends about you, but disappointed customers gripe to 11 friends about what you didn't do right. Yep, it pays to keep your word! What about those unhappy clients? Deal with them as quickly as possible and do what it takes to keep them happy. Yeah, you might lose a little profit today, but think of it like this...if you keep them on your side they'll come back again and again - and so will their friends. Keep an Element of Surprise Alive Have you ever gone shopping and at the counter discovered the item you purchased was on sale? Yeah, it feels great to save money you weren't expecting to save! Along with your advertised sales, slip in some unadvertised specials. Your customers will look forward to the unexpected savings they encounter at the cash register. Think about this...would you rather shop at the new store across town where the clerks are unfriendly and you're not sure of the quality of the product when you've already got a good thing going on somewhere else? We all have a zone of comfort and are creatures of habit. When your customers are in the habit of smiling every time they walk out of your door, they'll be less likely to experiment with an uncertain competitor. Tell Your Customers You Appreciate Their Business We all enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling that comes with being appreciated. Yep, a smile...a thank you...a pat on the back...they all leave us feeling great. How can you send your customers out of the store with the knowledge that they are valuable to you? Just say it...I appreciate your business! Say it with a special sale...by letting them in on a new product or service your are adding just for them...or simply with a smile and heartfelt thanks. Think about this...how do you feel when you know your opinion counts? Yeah, we all like to think people respect our thoughts and ideas. When your customers know you put a lot of stock in what they think of your business, they'll be more likely to talk it up to their friends and family. Reward them every time they share their opinion about your business. Set up a special referral reward program and watch the news travel. Invest in your customers...the dividends are great!

Hiring a mover watch those hidden costs

The impending move is getting closer, but that's ok, you're on top of everything. You've done your due diligence, researched various movers, received three estimates and have a good idea of your final moving costs. Now it's time to build all those extra costs into your budget. You will be shocked when you start building up your inventory of boxes and packing supplies. This is big business and companies are making a lot of money selling this stuff. Try to re-use whenever possible. I found our local liquor store and grocery store to be most helpful when I moved. Actual moving companies sell re-used boxes and packing materials at a discount as well. Start collecting early to build up your supply. Enquire as to the cost of purchasing last minute boxes in case you run out on moving day. It's quite costly to purchase these new directly from the moving company. Providing lunch and beverages for the movers is a gesture that is extremely appreciated. It also ensures they aren't running off to get lunch elsewhere and using up your valuable moving time. You may want to plan on a morning snack and pizza later on, with the occasional coffee run. You may consider tipping your movers, it's totally optional, some do, and some don't. If the movers are paid hourly, they may not have estimated enough time for the job and every extra hour gets added to your bill. Replacing damaged goods during packing or delivery can add to your budget. If you've purchased added insurance, the guidelines for making a claim are stringent, ensure you read the fine print. Generally your standard homeowner's insurance does not cover contents while they're in transit. Certain larger items may require special handling such as a piano, artwork, a billiard table or a vehicle, which translates into more dollars. How are you getting to your final destination? Don't forget to include your own traveling costs, hotel, meals, and transportation. If you are shipping your vehicle to the new home, those costs should be added in as well. Generally movers do a pretty good job of estimating the final weight of a shipment, but it's never exact and rarely do they estimate lower than the final tally. Be prepared to owe more than planned for the final cost per pound. If you will be requiring storage for your contents, make certain you understand not only the cost of storage, but the cancellation and late fees that may also apply. One ray of sunshine that may be available to you, if your move is job related and a specified distance closer to your new job, the expenses could result in a tidy deduction. Research your tax laws and see if this applies to you.

Adventure honeymoon ideas

Are you looking for a honeymoon that's a little different from the typical beachside vacation? You don't sit around at home, why should you do so on your honeymoon? Consider a diving trip to the Caribbean or perhaps a hiking trip to the Alps. Below are a few of my favorite choices for an adventure honeymoon: 1.Ecotourism in Costa Rica – Costa Rica, located in the heart of Central America, is rich with natural wonders. There are miles of uncrowded beach on both the Caribbean and the Pacific coasts, the Monteverde Cloud Forest in the central highlands, and the cosmopolitan capital of San Jose. The country is ideal for adventure seekers. You can swing through the tree-top canopy in the rain forest, windsurf on Lake Arenel – some of the best windsurfing in the world, enjoy fishing for swordfish and tuna, and hike the miles and miles of national park land. Costa Rica also specializes in self-sustaining resorts, a big plus for ecologically sensitive honeymooners. 2.Diving in Grand Cayman – The Cayman Islands, just east of Cuba, offers some of the best diving in the world. Grand Cayman, the largest of the three Cayman Islands, boasts dozens of dive sites as well as the pristine seven-mile beach and Stingray City, a unique stingray refuge where visitors can swim with 30 to 50 relatively tame stingrays. Accommodations on the island tend towards low-rise, mostly beachfront, condominiums. Nothing is too far away on this 22-mile long island. 3.Bicycling through Belize – Belize, on the Caribbean coast, offers quiet hillside retreats, stunning Mayan ruins, and undiscovered beaches. You can canoe into remote Barton Cove, an ancient Mayan burial site; stay in Francis Ford Coppola's exclusive jungle hideaway; and peddle alongside waterfalls, beaches, and caves. It's like being in your own Indiana Jones movie. 4.Heli-climbing in the Rockies – Experience the Canadian Rockies like few others have. A helicopter whisks you up to alpine meadows and inclines for a day or a half-day of hiking – or you can choose one spot in the morning and another in the afternoon. This trip is not roughing it, however. When you're not exploring Canada's beautiful mountain slopes, you'll be staying at one of the legendary Canadian Pacific lodges, noted for their elegant rooms, spectacular views, and gracious service. 5.Hiking in the Alps – Join a small group of like-minded adventurers for a trek through the foothills of the Swiss Alps. A typical week-long tour takes you through quaint mountain villages, to secluded mountain meadows, and up steep mountain passes. The average day's travel is about ten miles and in the evening you'll stay and dine in historic and friendly alpine inns. 6.Camping in Yosemite – The 1189-square mile Yosemite National Park offers over 400 campsites, ranging from primitive to fully-equipped. Yosemite is one of the National Park System's most dramatic, and ranges in elevation from 2000 to over 13,000 feet. Visitors can enjoy the park's over 7000 species of plant life and over 250 varieties of animals. Activities include climbing, hiking the over 800 miles of trails, rafting, and horseback-riding

Discover motiva card rewards customers for good credit management

The newly launched Discover Motiva credit card is designed to reward customers for good financial management. Through its pay-on-time bonus and cash back features, Motiva offers cardholders two ways to earn money. With the Discover Motiva card, consumers do not have to be high spenders to be rewarded. Pay-on-time Bonus Those who hold a Discover Motiva Card will receive bonuses for making on-time payments. An on-time payment refers to paying at least the minimum payment due on or before the due date. When customers meet this requirement for six consecutive months, they will receive the following month’s interest back as a pay-on-time bonus. Over the course of twelve months, cardholders will have the opportunity to receive two bonuses. This is equivalent to having two interest-free months. In this way, Discover rewards balance-carrying customers who make their payments on a timely basis. Cash Back In addition to the pay-on-time bonus, the Discover Motiva Card offers a cash back rewards program. Cardholders will have the opportunity to earn up to 1% cash back on all purchases. Customers can choose from a variety of redemption options for their rewards. They can even have the cash applied directly to their monthly statement, providing them with a way to pay down their balances quickly. Discover offers cardmembers the chance to increase, and even double, their rewards by redeeming the cash back bonus for gift cards from over 70 brand-name partners. Discover Motiva Card gives customers other opportunities to earn even more cash back. Cardmembers will receive 5-20% cash back when they make purchases through Discover Card’s online shopping site, which includes online retailers such as Target. and Barnes&Noble. Additional Features The Discover Motiva Card offers additional features to help facilitate on-time payments for customers. Cardholders are able to choose the due date they wish to use for making payments. This allows them to set up a payment schedule that best fits their financial needs. Customers also have the chance to sign up for free email reminders. These messages include reminders for upcoming due dates and other important notices. This feature helps customers remember to make their payments and avoid costly fees. Discover allows cardholders to make payments online or by phone. They can do this, even on the due date, with no extra charge. This provides customers with more opportunities to receive the pay-on-time bonus. In addition to rewarding customers for paying on time and offering cash back on purchases, the Discover Motiva card has no annual fee. The card includes a 3.9% introductory rate on purchases. It also offers a 3.9% APR on balance transfers until 2010. The regular APR for the Discover Motiva Card is relatively low for those with good credit. For years, Discover has developed programs to reward its cardholders. Today, with over 50 million cardmembers, Discover now offers a new award for those who make payments on time. This came in response to customers who felt the rewards programs by some credit card companies only benefited high spenders. With Discover Motiva Card, customers do not have to make large purchases to receive rewards. This card is designed for those with good credit who want to be rewarded for careful financial management.

The only true self improvement

When we browse the Web, we can notice that almost every directory has a category that deals with self-improvement. This subject has become very popular. Every human being that at least possesses a little bit of conscience tries to improve herself or is at least interested at a thought of such a striving. The higher the moral level of a man, the stronger is his or her desire to improve. Those people who are convenient but do not feel very good about themselves if they miss the feeling that they work on their own improvement, will at least read articles and books how to improve themselves, but as a matter of fact, their reading will be the only one thing that they will really do. On the other hand, there are also people who really want to improve themselves and actively try to follow any well-meant piece of advice how to become better. However, the problem is that hardly any out of all the available advices which are supposed to show you the way how you can improve yourself is really effective and safe. To be frank, I have to say that the most effective way how to improve is even very uncomfortable. To understand my point of view, you should know that I believe in reincarnation, in harmony in all Nature and in the balance of all the opposites. I also believe that all people together are one whole and because everything is related to any other thing, in the same way the destiny of each one of us is related with the destiny of all other people. As opposites reign to us all and balance always tries to be restored, we should avoid any extreme in our life to prevent the opposite extreme in the life of other people. If we are too rich, others will have to be too poor. If we are too healthy, others will have to be too ill. If we are too happy, others will have to be too unhappy. If we are too good, others will have to be too bad. Because we are one whole, then to improve this whole, one must try to improve both himself and all the other at once. To improve all mankind - to help all mankind, it means to help the most suffering ones first of all. But how can they be helped? Who is ill and cannot be healed, let him enter new body in the next life of his or her soul by euthanasia, who has suffered a serious accident let him be helped by all other people, who is too poor and does not have enough money to life, let him be gifted by the rich. Remember that if you helped any other man, you helped yourself because if there will be no excessive suffering on the world, neither you soul will have to excessively suffer, whether it will be in it's present or future life. So any help to any other man in fact is a help to yourself. True self-improvement consists in the restriction of one's own happiness for the purpose of helping all the other people by sharing any above-average possession with them. Everybody should be averagely rich and averagely happy. Only then he will neither suffer too much nor he will cause any occurence of too much suffering people. Let everybody live in a medium happiness with medium possession and let him have the same price like that of all other people. Now ask yourself: Are you the rich who will not support the poor with your money? Do you enjoy a good state of health and at the same time do not feel with those who suffer most and you are not willing to bear a part of their big pain on your own shoulders? If it is so, then please stop reading articles and books about self improvement since you will never improve yourself in the proper way. For the only self-improvement is to sacrifice a part of what you've got to help the other. There is no other self-improvement.

What kind of sellers are real estate investors looking for

Copyright 2006 National Real Estate Network LLC You are looking for sellers whose #1 objective is to sell their property. You are looking for motivated sellers (A DON’T WANTER). If you are dealing with any one else, you are going down the wrong road. It would be a good to get a real estate license. Even when you are dealing with someone who is not a motivated seller and who’s #1 objective is not to get rid of the property, a real estate license can earn you money by listing the property for the person, or referring them to someone else that would be better as a listing real estate agent for the property. When I call on someone who wants to sell their property, I have found they know the value and their options. We review what the after repaired value is with them and what we would offer. We also advise them as to their options regarding getting pre-qualified by a mortgage company, or any other options that might be the best solution for them. If they are motivated sellers whose #1 objective is to get rid of the property, then they will look to work out a sale with you. I feel it is important to let them know all their options such as to list property, take investor offer, or refinance property. If you present to them what is you see as their possible solutions it will make a difference for them regarding saving the property through refinance, or you might get the listing or referral fee from another realtor that gets the property sold for the owner. The bottom line is you served them and in doing that, you get taken care of also. Some examples of motivated sellers are: a. Divorce—The couple has separated. They now have doubled their individual overhead. They have two house payments now. The home they shared required two incomes. The marital house is headed for foreclosure b. Probated estates - the attorney in charge will want to liquidate the estate as quickly as possible c. Tired landlords—people who jump into this business and can't handle property management. d. Loss of job e. Move out of state - double house payments f. Partnership split The business of finding motivated sellers is good one. g. Foreclosures h. Tax Forecloures In this business, key is to stay focused on making sure you have motivated seller. Said anyother way is that the person #1 objective is to get rid of their property. Good hunting for Motivated sellers!
